erm for this 85mm and the 35mm , will it be FF lens or just APSC ?? (confused abit with SAM/SSM)

gjtan : the AEL button for most alphas. but iinm a230/a330/a380/a290/a390 don have. if you use the spot metering on P/A/S mode, when u lock AF the exposure will lock.

e-jump : try search for ArcSoft Panorama Maker 5 , very easy to stitch photo with that. but cant do much editing
the best thing is can even stitch panorama from videos

wha7ever : the a33/a55 is continuous AF on the 7/10fps burst mode( can change to AF-S also) . limited functions , cant change the ISO/Aperture/Shutter. only metering , EV, WB ,etc... my a33 can go till 12frames jpegs then already slows down (using 8GB HG Pro Duo MS), havent tried with RAW/ Jpeg+Raw, the a55 is said to have more buffer thingy

but one thing bugs me, when in the 7fps mode i can go up to 12frames. but in normal Hi burst can up to 4-5frames only... is the 7fps mode uses lower quality images/compresses more??

for me video AF is just easier but i love MF better. can play with DOF and all. but best if there are lens with alltime MF override like the SSM. if Only Sony put the MF override on SAM lenses

another thing is the lens back cap. Sony so cheap rite now
also the hot shoe cap iinm was made in Malaysia bcoz my last trip to Japan i saw on the thing printed. but Malaysia punya sony so .......................

also i would say no need the wide angle adapter . may vignette @18mm and also most certain will have CA. see this pic i took link and even at f/8 the output still abit soft (link)

got Q here:
1-Sony got sell the external mic for video recording for sony a33/a55/a580?? i know there is for Nex but can it be put on non-Nex hot shoe??
2-other recommended brands or product or link for external mic for vid recording ?
3-do i have to use selotep to mount the normal ISO hot shoe mics to my alpha

imho raynox better. u can control ur DoF Aperture easier

evilhomura89 : dunno lah, from made in japan to thailand. from have caps to no caps. then whut???

some people use tissue at the aperture control lever, but if wanna control the DoF (aperture) u might have to use ur finger but i dunno how to hold la like that .

no no no no...
there few ways of reversal macro thingy method. 1 is using 1 lens like the top one. the other is using reversal filter ring. totally different ring


but i think easier to control the aperture (DoF)

nex 1855 + 50mm 1.4 reversed ( mr Sig punya last time TT )

ahpingko : i tried the sal75300 with cheap macro filter. after 100mm cant see damn thing already through viewfinder , if try shoot at small aperture should get something. but even so the DoF is extremely small/tight

8tvt : one is reversal ring filter, the other one is just reversal ring (direct mount on camera). dunno its proper name thou

Mikeshashimi : teknically put tissue or something to open the aperture lever normally people just open it wide wide (widest aperture), probably can if u can agak the aperture opening . if guna the 2 lens method then can control the aperture on the lens mounted on body
