lwliam : Coma? I don't think so. I think most probably it's a little flare made worse by the UV filter. I was shooting the scene at f8 so I think any coma that can happen should have been gone after stopping down so much.
Anyway, here's a little story behind the shot. As I was framing my shot and waiting for the fountain to start, along comes a Chinese (meaning from China proper) lady and asks to look at my cam. So I stepped back and she peered through the viewfinder and said, "Wah! Jiang je kan dao hen ching chu or!" Or translated - "Wah! Like this can see clearly!" She is very nice looking and the fact that she peered through the viewfinder without any prompting means that she knows a thing or two about cameras. If not for the fact that she was hanging off the arms of another guy, I would have made my move! .............. Or not! LOL!!!! |

wha7ever: As far as I know, Sigma HSM/Tamron USD should work with the A580 in Focus Check Live View mode, in Contrast Detect AF.
Bear in mind that wider, brighter lenses are faster in Contrast Detect - the Zeiss 24mm F2.0 SSM should be loads faster. Though, whether it is HSM or not does not matter for video with the A580 since it's all manual focus anyway. Only thing you wanna avoid is the noisy 50mm F1.8 DT SAM, which has a grindy sound even in manual focus (according to bryanlyt.) ahpingko: Don't be butthurt, okay only lah his pictures. lawt2845: Yes the Sony 18-250mm F3.5-6.3 DT is geared 1.7x faster than the Tamron 18-250mm F3.5-6.3 DiII. wingster: Nice, any confrontation/fight shots? 8tvt: The A560 isn't out until 2011. |
