mikeshashimi : Nothing so special. Just that the 50mm f1.4 can capture a little more light and is FF compatible.

mikeshashimi : Nah! Bokeh is comparable and generally both of them do not have especially good bokeh. Sharpness also comparable.
Most people have the misconception that the larger the aperture, the better the bokeh. This is not true. Larger apertures makes it EASIER for you to get bokeh. It DOES NOT guarantee good bokeh.

generally FF lens cost 2-3 times more than APS-C. with exception of some minolta FF lens which are relatively cheaper. This post has been edited by zstan: Nov 19 2010, 05:06 PM

I got an offer 2.7k with drybox for A580, but i wonder whether the quality is good or not, plus whether I need the drybox or not.

the biggest problem is when the temperature in the place you store your lens changes. like say, in an aircond room... when u switch the aircond off, temperature will go up and there will be some moist/vapour... and it usually occur on glass surface like windows... or more precisely, your lenses.
