mikeshashimi : Nothing so special. Just that the 50mm f1.4 can capture a little more light and is FF compatible.

mikeshashimi : Nah! Bokeh is comparable and generally both of them do not have especially good bokeh. Sharpness also comparable.

Most people have the misconception that the larger the aperture, the better the bokeh. This is not true. Larger apertures makes it EASIER for you to get bokeh. It DOES NOT guarantee good bokeh.

generally FF lens cost 2-3 times more than APS-C. rclxub.gif with exception of some minolta FF lens which are relatively cheaper.

Urgh do I reli need a drybox?

I doubt I reli need one de lo >"> At least for now. Kinda find it wasting lol.

I got an offer 2.7k with drybox for A580, but i wonder whether the quality is good or not, plus whether I need the drybox or not.

I already got an Aipo one, albeit its my pals one XD

old chinese saying: haven see ghost, dunno what is 'fear'

my friend 75-300 last week report to me got fungus, what he did is left the lens about 6 month inside another spare bag. 6 month only.

the issue is when u need to store (or forgotten) a lens for a long time... fungus grow really fast when the "requirement" is right.

I already got an Aipo drybox >"> But its quite full with junks lens inside.

Its just that the A580 deal is 2.7k with another drybox which I do not need >"> So wondering should I try 2 get another bargin or what la lol.

Cheapest so far is around 2.6k like that. Perhaps can get lower also XD

the biggest problem is when the temperature in the place you store your lens changes. like say, in an aircond room... when u switch the aircond off, temperature will go up and there will be some moist/vapour... and it usually occur on glass surface like windows... or more precisely, your lenses.
