Very pissed off now. I just bought MSI GTX 560 Ti Twin frozr II / OC from LYP.
Used it for only 2 days and the mHDMI port of the GPU was loose. It cannot detect HDMI input already. I was very pissed. Send back to the shop, they said it is physical damage. WTF?!?! It just been 2 days and they said it was physical damage and they don't want to 1 to 1 exchange. They said they will send to their supplier only and need to wait for 4 weeks for the RMA. Somemore they said they cant confirm whether can fix or not?? F*CK U CYCOM
The shop service is sucks and I dont know is MSI quality that suck too??? I called MSI and they said they dont accept warranty from END USER. WTF MSI!!!!!!
but I'm worried about temperature. When stressing with Kombustor, the temp can hit 90c+, true story. So high already don't need to think about OCing thought of buying a 3rd party cooler, but no money.
very sad already
When do people stress their card ? only for OC purpose , if you want OC , you shouldnt get reference card anyway . People say reference card vs OC card is almost the same , I would say NO ~ the extra cooling system + VRM is far more better than reference . 930mhz stress with kombustor max temp is 62 , fan speed 60% , no air con, not bad huh , idle temp is 30~35

Dear rd33, Could you snap a picture of the card and PM it to me? I'll see what i can do for your. And also give me your contact number as well in the PM. Cheers.
Dear TechnoG, Maybe try to change the thermalpaste to better ones? Usually it helps.

Thank you for your concern. But I have sent my MSI GTX 560 Ti to the CYCOM shop as I was advice by the MSI official (this is the number I called 03-92819029) to send it through shop as they said they wont take it from END USER.
And the Shop said I have no choice to either send the GPU through them or buy DVI-HDMI converter (what a stupid suggestion, I need audio output la moron). Some more the converter would cost me RM 25 (the cheapest one). So I just send it for RMA through this shop because I need that HDMI port, and I dont want my GPU got further problems later on.
The worst case scenario is that the shop said that the damage of my MSI GTX 560 Ti might void warranty, and will take about 3-4 weeks. they said depends on MSI want to fix it or not. WTF! So I advice to all of you guys think carefully before buy. This thing is not cheap, it cost me RM 800 and right now I may have just wasted it, includes my time and my life. Maybe RM 800 for some of u guys is small, but not for me.
P/s: This is not a make up story, I can send u the receipt and the email screen shot.
Well , only minor people have the bad experience including you . This is quite acceptable , each company has customer who love them , and customer who dislike them , depend on their experience . If many people telling the service is not good , then it is bad company , so far MSI is a good company , I didnt see much complaint .
And another thing is , you cant blame MSI first . Because you listen to cycom only , "depend on MSI want fix anot" , who know MSI will fix for you fast ? It depend on cycom how fast they send for RMA , who know cycom will send your card for RMA late ? many issue in between to consider before you throw your fire to MSI , no offence . I dislike Lowyat shop , customer service not really good , if you wanted to buy , customer service consider ok , I faced many lansi sale assistant there, especially when you just do surveying , their face wont really look at you. Because they have many customers to buy stuff from them , they don't bother to serve customers. When they see you got cash in your hand , they will serve you good. Maybe you straightly ask help from Msi-MY , I think you will get faster response , instead of waiting cycom.

Dear rd33, Please PM the serial number of the VGA so that we could check and also to follow up on this matter. Sorry for the inconvenience caused as our Repair Centre does not take in warranties for walk in customers. But you can opt to send it to our dealers, distributors or us. Hope that we could solve the issue for you. Thank you.
Yes, I have PM u. I hope this matter can be solved. As for CYCOM, I will complain to certain parties for their lousy services. Their statement of 7 days 1 on 1 exchange is bullshit. An Advice to all of consumer, do double check the product carefully and choose a shop that can be responsible.
Hi, I have overheat issue with my MSI GTX480 recently even at stock clock it reaches 90-100'c in 3Dmark Vantage & games.
I've been thinking to RMA or change the stock heatsink. If RMA, shop warranty already ended. Just manufacturer warranty left. Can someone assist how to?

1)Did you clean your dust inside ? open the card apart . clean everything inside including heatsink, fans, and whatever dust you see , and replace with a good thermal paste and see how it goes . If the problem still persist then you may try ask for RMA . 2) Your chassis condition still same like last time ? cable management , airflow ?
You cant just hand in a card that full of dust for RMA , I think they wont bother you , they will try to ask your clean first.

Hi yea It's dust free, I have bench for testing out my hardware outside if my casing airflow could be the culprit. However I don't bother yet to take all apart to replace the thermal paste. That is what I'm thinking currently also possibility to replace the heatsink to Arctic Xtreme Plus.

Hi rd33, i share your concern and also faced same mHDMI port problem with you on 560ti tfII. I sent my card to idealtech yesterday for RMA and it is not even 1 month of usage (using mHDMI port for two time only..mostly using dvi).
Hi MSI-MY, I use your brand for my mobo (p67 gd55) and GC based on good reviews from this forum but please improve the build quality of the hdmi port and it looks so fragile compared to my previous sapphire gc. I hope u can expedite the RMA process of my card. FYI, the card serial # last 3digits should be 661.
Dear rd33, I'll give you a status update as soon as possible. You should get back your card no problem. We understand the money you spent on this card and it's our duty to make sure everything is handled accordingly. Since we has step in, we will provide you a solution.
Dear kop2299, Could you PM me the full S/N so i can track down this card status? And thanks for your feedback, i'll forward this to our HQ.
Thank you for your concern. I am just worried they wont fix my 560-Ti because of the "physical damage" policy. Even though I have never done anything that can make the mHDMI port broken such as dropped, forced, mishandling, etc. Except using the mHDMI port normally. (It is 2 days usage? and you expect user to done anything careless mistake? The GPU was like a gold to me, I dont even want it to get scratch) It is very frustrating and worrying that they might reject to fix this GPU due to their "physical damage" warranty. Anyway thank you for sharing your problem here. It just glad to know there is someone else in the same boat as me.
@MSI-MY
Thank you for your support. I hope you can track my GPU with the S/N given. I have no trust with the CYCOM anymore. I just wished you MSI would provide END USER services as I think this can smoother the process. (just like mobile phone warranty nowadays).
I think you are unlucky that you might got yourself a defective card . I have been using mHDMI for over 2 weeks ago , I am using a workbench so sometime I would have touch the hdmi cable by accident , but it still stayed intact =)
I guess its true. But I have always wondered why they use mHDMI (maybe lack of space). It seems mHDMI abit fragile. Tho I always prefer the normal HDMI as it is easier, and you don't need any converter.
