if i'm not mistaken, regardless of any brand, Z68 pricing is not far from P67. a lot is saying that Z68 should be the P67 during the P67 launch. so it sums up to whether you need the extra features or not. hehe...

not fair from p67 ? which price range are you referring too ? As far as I know , there are RM495++ p67 and 1000++ p67 sad.gif .. hope the price will set near 5xx thumbup.gif

so far so good . Most of the card including Asus 570 DICUII need 1.1v to get 880mhz OCCT stable . I just need 1.067 925mhz/1850shader to get stable ! What a big different . DirectCUII might have a bigger heatsink for better cooling but TFIII aint bad . Idle temp is 40~45 , full load it wont get over 60~65 even in OC mode. Fan profiles set 40~50C 50% ,51~60 60% , 70C ++ 70%. I love this card very much =) .

Dear linkinawe,
You may get better results of you change the thermalpaste. It's really nice to hear that you like the card. It made our day. A good feedback of our products.

swt , the load reading I gave you was wrong because , after I defined the fans profiles , I didnt click "auto" in fan speed . It was constant 45% speed , that why the load temp is 60~65. After I click "auto" ,the fan profiles is working and now my load temp is 57 ;p , not bad for 60% fan speed

the official price for Gainward Phantom2 GTX 560 is around RM800 brows.gif

FFFFUU- you bought it at RM1159? I bought mine around that price too  sad.gif
very sadding now.

I rather get the 560 hawk at Rm839 cool2.gif Currently MSI OC physical card capability + msi after burner is the best match =P . Sad for what ? Later people can buy cheaper than mine , then I going to be sad ? Just buy and enjoy . They buy later they enjoy later icon_rolleyes.gif If you not keen on overclocking , your reference card still perform very good, your card still can max out any game what biggrin.gif

but I'm worried about temperature. When stressing with Kombustor, the temp can hit 90c+, true story. So high already don't need to think about OCing sad.gif
thought of buying a 3rd party cooler, but no money.

very sad already  cry.gif
When do people stress their card ? only for OC purpose , if you want OC , you shouldnt get reference card anyway . People say reference card vs OC card is almost the same , I would say NO ~ the extra cooling system + VRM is far more better than reference . 930mhz stress with kombustor max temp is 62 , fan speed 60% , no air con, not bad huh thumbup.gif , idle temp is 30~35

Well , only minor people have the bad experience including you . This is quite acceptable , each company has customer who love them , and customer who dislike them , depend on their experience . If many people telling the service is not good , then it is bad company , so far MSI is a good company , I didnt see much complaint .

And another thing is , you cant blame MSI first . Because you listen to cycom only , "depend on MSI want fix anot" , who know MSI will fix for you fast ? It depend on cycom how fast they send for RMA , who know cycom will send your card for RMA late ? many issue in between to consider before you throw your fire to MSI , no offence . I dislike Lowyat shop , customer service not really good , if you wanted to buy , customer service consider ok , I faced many lansi sale assistant there, especially when you just do surveying , their face wont really look at you. Because they have many customers to buy stuff from them , they don't bother to serve customers. When they see you got cash in your hand , they will serve you good. Maybe you straightly ask help from Msi-MY , I think you will get faster response , instead of waiting cycom.

Hi, I have overheat issue with my MSI GTX480 recently even at stock clock it reaches 90-100'c in 3Dmark Vantage & games.

I've been thinking to RMA or change the stock heatsink. If RMA, shop warranty already ended. Just manufacturer warranty left. Can someone assist how to?
*
1)Did you clean your dust inside ? open the card apart . clean everything inside including heatsink, fans, and whatever dust you see , and replace with a good thermal paste and see how it goes . If the problem still persist then you may try ask for RMA .
2) Your chassis condition still same like last time ? cable management , airflow ?

You cant just hand in a card that full of dust for RMA , I think they wont bother you , they will try to ask your clean first.

I think you are unlucky that you might got yourself a defective card . I have been using mHDMI for over 2 weeks ago , I am using a workbench so sometime I would have touch the hdmi cable by accident , but it still stayed intact =)

hey MSI-MY , we are allowed to change the GPU thermal paste right ? Do you have any guidance to open the card apart ? Like unscrew the screw position in which order , which screw need to unscrew which doesnt . I'm asking you to confirm , in order not to spoil the card . I cant afford this card send for RMA because of my stupid mistake

Oh , just unscrew the 4 screws located at the chipset area right ? I know how to apply thermal , done it numerous time for my laptop . But I didnt open the graphic card before , this is my first desktop graphic card rclxms.gif, previously using laptop . I use 99% alcohol to remove the thermal paste residue , it is a cotton that soaked in alcohol , which i bought in pharmacy . thanks for the tips rclxms.gif
