Makes me wonder too. Since this thread was created a few months back, I think he would've probably wedded since we don't see him in here anymore.
Anyway, no thanks to Mr.Spambot tux12 for bumping an old thread just to promote his online suit business.

Gotta be human spambots on manual mode. Heck, even they even offer advices, use emotes and spent time to create signatures linking back to their sites. It seems that Lowyat.NET is ranked quite high in Google's search result, thus making it a good target for advertisers.

Yeah, I just wedded on 090909. For the Coats, I'll go for Custom-Made from Tailor, the cheaper version of material cause I rarely wear it next time. Will be using for Shooting & Ceremony then biggrin.gif

yeah, on 090909. That day newspaper & some websites also can see my photos blush.gif
i do it at Thean Hou Temple. Usually special date or mass wedding more expensive a bit than regular time. For registration altogether around RM150++, including commisionner of oath sign. Normal time I think around RM100++

If regular day, i prefer do it at putrajaya, cheaper, less ppl & better environment, easier process, change i/c just next door.

u in process finding wedding registration or ceremony or what event u planning now ?

Hi, congratulations to u, next month u no more available alrd... rclxms.gif
Actually, I alrd decided to do custom-made coats, but not make it yet, because I only need it when SHooting time & ceremony time only. I'll go do it only beginning of October later.
For the registration at Thean Hou Temple, I didn't wear coat, in mass wedding with so many people, wearing coat will be very hot. That day not much ppl wearing coat also, 2 hands fingers counts got balance too.
My planned coat just normal lar, nothing special one, not tuxedo....

Tailor ask me whether want 2 or 3 button, this one I'm still thinking.... any idea ?

2 buttons would be the best choice in this time and age.

Get your suit done as early as possible. You don't want to go to the tailor to pick it up the day before the shoot or ceremony and he tells you "Not finished yet! One more week!". It happened to me once when I sent the trousers of my one and only dark suit to be dry cleaned in time for an interview. I was promised it the day before the interview, but when I went there it wasn't done yet. I had to do the interview without a suit jacket.

Make it sooner better. As even if you pick it up late, you still get to pick it up.

Many others also tell me 2 buttons, but the tailor told me, because I'm tall (6 fts), it's better to have 3 buttons, the choice is mine....

your button stance can be higher, your body should already be long (assuming from your height), therefore you no longer need to elongate your look..

i'm one of the i'm-getting-married-but-i-can't-get-a-fitting-tux!!!

went to a bridal shop to get my fittings earlier, but due to my small size, i look sloppy when i'm in both the shirt + tux.

the shirt might not be a problem as i think i can get from shops.

the problem lies in the tuxedo.

i do have a tailor-made jacket, but i'm unsure whether it is considered a tux or not as from what i see tux have that shiny part in front, whereas mine doesn't have the shiny part...

so, any ideas as where to get one? getting a tailor-made suit will be a last resort as i think i will be wearing it only on my wedding day.

Thanks in advance!
