QUOTE(GlobalKL @ Oct 29 2011, 06:32 AM) SOHO block 1 --> 100% sold out? In this case it's 400+ units and 30-40 shop lots sold. Some of the developers are damn smart. Slice a project and call it Block 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and claim Block 1 sold out but probably 100 units for each "block" only. kekekeke Pray harder.... |

QUOTE(csvlee @ Oct 28 2011, 10:07 PM) Kena jampi oredi. Wow, the price has sure gone up a lot. I bought a duplex Soho at 18th floor facing the lake for only RM656k after discount and now for the same price can only dapat a 1 room service apt. Luckily I did not surrender my unit like what my other 2 friends did. Personally I like the whole concept (if they can deliver exactly what they promised). I work along Jln Ampang and I am very confident that in the next 2-3 years per sq ft price of small size (500-800 sf) condo semi furnished like M-Suites or MCity should hit at least RM1100-1300 psf. Whilst traffic congestion remains the biggest issue, I think there is still room for property price at that part of Jln Ampang to increase. Duke and MAX highway have helped to ease congestion a bit. Hope I am right...Cheerio!!Went to the launch today and ended up with a 1 room unit for 600k+. Was attracted by the 30k only deposit and pay nothing till 2015 when it's ready. Hopefully by then all storms will be over! |

Hmmm quite slow, the sale.
When I was there, they even have many floor reserved and not for sales yet. Now i am thinking if it was the right choice buying this. The attraction of M-City is the package of DIBS and longer SPA (42 mths). So I am hoping that all will be fine in 3.5 years time. Also, along Jalan Ampang there are very few lifestyle living places like this that has combination of "space", retail and maybe a little less crowded. So rental of RM 3k+ is possible. |

For RM3k+ an expat/yuppie can easilly rent a very nice studio/1bedroom just next to KLCC or walking distance to Pavillion.
They can also get a slightly older but also decent 2bedroom in KLCC and Bukit Bintang for RM3k+ So for the same price, how many will choose to stay in the city center and how many will prefer to stay 5km away without any LRT/MRT? |

Good decision. I think de only investment worth goin for tis project is retail unit. De rest r stil dependent on luck. IMHO. |

Here is an excerpt of the segitiga: "Known as Kuala Lumpur's commercial, shopping and entertainment hub, the Golden Triangle is actually a large area that encompasses a number of major streets. Three roads - Jalan Imbi, Jalan Sultan Ismail and Jalan Raja Chulan form a triangle which borders the entire Golden Triangle area. Sales is moderating at this point. Going forward, it is very hard to say if prices can sustain at this level. |

Even the Embassy Row is not considered Golden Triangle. This is actually at the border of KL city and Selangor lahSource: http://www.kuala-lumpur.ws/klareas/golden.htm |
