yea i'm really new actually, only been learning guitar for about a year, started last october, went on jamming sessions with my bands but never get the chance to perform yet. But what is the jam concept u guys are talking about? it seems like u guys are playing blues

depends on what type of songs u guys are playing actually. if its the hardcore rock songs, i dont think im capable lol.

check out guitar improvising on google.... USUALLY thats what most ppl do when they jam.... but i think for the lyn virtual jam most of us got the melody and stuff all thought out before recording

Why u guys dont meet each other and play & record together at jamming studio ? wouldn't that be more fun? lazy? no money lol?

sure it would be more fun... but its much easier to do it this way....
we have a backing track.... we can spend as much time as we want on the project instead of on-the-spot improvisions..... less pressure....
and finally... not all of us live in klang valley....

so with this virtual jam... anyone with an internet connection can participate.. no troubles at all

yes, some of us not living in m'sia... (to know which ones : all the ones which are joking about m'sian government... )
but mostly, it's because we're all very afraid of each others.
and because it's hard to find a studio that can bear with 15 noisy punks like us

actually we're just afriad of blacktrix going into his BLS rampage....

if u all plan to do that then lets hope metalhead can pick me up coz i dont wanna carry my gear into lrt and stuff just to jam. i dont have zakk's muscles to carry my gear.

after july i am not sure if i will be in kl. if its long holidays i will be bck in kuching.
