Think of it as an extended Jam session in a dingy club where the lighting is sooooo bad that you can't see anyone and the backing band is actually a CD player.

lol spot on!

well learning from each other is probably the main aim of this kind of jam la... learn different kinds of approaches

jemi > Too bad you're so far on the left sad.gif it's hard to enjoy your full talent in this way... you're still a technical master, but the fact that you had only 30 seconds pushed you too much, no? And I can hear you've got tired fingers... a bit messy in some licks.
you have plenty of ideas, but not enough time to devellop them, next time i hope you'll have longer bit. oooh, for instance, that vibrato "diving" action is really inspiring, but cut short. grrr.

blacktrix, hey, it's a weird feeling : it's like i'm hearing myself, with additional pings ( and after few more years of practise, i must confess) wink.gif I like it ! Still some unclean parts, but I can see you worked hard on it.

all in all, i can hear in jemi and blacktrix's parts more tireness than with the other dudes (I was dead-fingered also, but i was going much slower that you two, so I can't hear it that much).

THAT WAS ZAKK'S AUDITION TAPE!!!

Hehehehehe.... fooled you all good.

That was Zakk's take on Randy's solo on the tape he sent to Ozzy for the audition. Obviously he got it. Will post more tracks from that Demo tape soon.

About 17-18 when he did the demo. And I wouldn't call it "having his own tech". It was basically him and a guy in the studio, just hammering away tune after tune.

iliveunderwater, i don't understand your remark. we might not be superb players (except for me, that is), but yeah, it's what we call solo. I wouldn't mind if someone played some violins or piano...
*
yeah it would be more creative if you guys can find someone here to play violins and piano. You guys played great its just that i think u guys sound more like an instrumental band there

Iliveunderwater, i think ure new to the jam concept. go watch g3 or go to a guitar clinic(paul gilbert's clinic is one good example). its meant to be an instrumental....

Yeah. If you don't like it, change it! We made it as a guitar jam track and so we have a guitar jam track. But I agree.... I don't think you understand the concept of a jam session.

Don't worry. We're here to help out man!
