anyone up for a virtual jam? lots of other music forums have similiar jams like this so i thought we could start one of our own...

basicly one backing track... and we jam for like maybe a minute or minute half each...
please tell if you'll like to work on the next one so we dont get 2 tracks at the same time....

this is a sorta bluesy backing track.... very easy
more suggestions welcomed

yea i used one of santanas signature licks.... the repeated legatos and then off to one octave lower and decend.... guess age really does reflect experience the rest is all done with the blues/dorian scale...

im sure you can solo over the solos.... or maybe do some nice funnk riffing for the guitar solo

i think you should boost mids for the solo....easier to hear the sound..
also it seems like that your freting hand is trying quite hard to follow the picking... like everyone said.... a metronome would really help...
try and get the speed kills instruct vid and chris impellideri(sp) instruc vid
shredder vids... not my cup of tea... but im sure u'll love it

no point to have the speed and not the accuracy... it'll just sound like someone with only one aim and thats to play as fast as possible...
juz chill and keep practicing with a metronome... im sure after 1-2 years of constant practice you'll be shredding like becker
