ive told u guys i'll record once i get back to kuching. unfortunately i am very busy as i am playing as a sessionist for one band right now(and gig in a week time, maybe 2 more gigs after that. even recording a demo is being discussed.). so if i am free i'll record, and probably join in the jam session if jemi isnt doin it. ive heard the solos you guys play. cool stuff!

hey guys, I just heard the LYN guitar phreaks audio file, the one with se7en blacktrix and erm i forgot. nice keyboard sounds in there, but I wanna ask something, why majority of the song is in high notes (If I'm not mistaken)? The guitar I mean

iliveunderwater > it's what a guitar solo is about... no ? I mean.. you can solo in the lower octave if you want, but it won't sound so outstanding from the backing track. It's quite hard to make a good mix with "low" solo (that's my opinion) and make it sound soulful for quite a while, esp. while improvising (still my opinion).
However, I did start around the 5th fret for the solo, but that's because I'm naturally outstanding
