So THAT was the weird rubbery stuff under some of the chips -  the fujipolys. Thankfully I didn't peel them off lol.

Where to buy em?

FrozenCPU.com smile.gif
I buy it and apply on my Y500 with ic diamond (CPU/GPU/Ultrabay) now the temperatures are good to go biggrin.gif

If you want to buy, high end machines get the 17w ones, normal ones get 11w ones will do :3

fujipolys u mean the sticker like thing under cpu/gpu heat sink?

it's Thermal Pads not Fujipolys biggrin.gif

Fujipoly is the brand, one of the best thermal pad

Normal ones you found are white color, they are normally the 3M brand.

There are other brands too

What laptop do you want to upgrade? Not sure about the "newest" MSI laptops, but MSI HAVE been upgradable in the past.

It's not gonna be cheap though.

Motherfather. thats freaking expensive shocking.gif

BTW, its a MSI GT-60. My concern was upgrading the CPU (I thought it was possible) but knowing GPU upgrades are also possible is a plus. But the upgrades looks complicating, so thats why i prefer using a professional tongue.gif
