QUOTE(Eiraku @ Aug 24 2013, 02:44 PM) So THAT was the weird rubbery stuff under some of the chips - the fujipolys. Thankfully I didn't peel them off lol. Where to buy em? FrozenCPU.com I buy it and apply on my Y500 with ic diamond (CPU/GPU/Ultrabay) now the temperatures are good to go If you want to buy, high end machines get the 17w ones, normal ones get 11w ones will do :3 This post has been edited by R3b0rn: Aug 24 2013, 03:21 PM

Not sure about the "newest" MSI laptops, but MSI HAVE been upgradable in the past. http://www.mxm-upgrade.com/GX620.htmlhttp://www.ebay.com.my/itm/MSI-GT60-VGA-Up...b-/121046303983It's not gonna be cheap though. Motherfather. thats freaking expensive BTW, its a MSI GT-60. My concern was upgrading the CPU (I thought it was possible) but knowing GPU upgrades are also possible is a plus. But the upgrades looks complicating, so thats why i prefer using a professional
