I am new to smartphone, just bought a 2nd hand unit BB Torch 9800 from mudah.my yesterday
since this is my first time use blackberry.. i got a few question need to ask old timer here..
during my COD, i have try the phone and its works good..
after i juz arrived at home, its start to show
"SIM CARD ERROR" and
"SOS" line connection..
i did turn it OFF, and turn it ON back.. its work and working perfect as usual, but sumtimes when i leave the phone idle around 10-15 minutes its ERROR again.. already check if i misplaced the sim card, trying a few times slot back the sim card into the tray, but still same
already told the seller, he said mayb my sim card got problem, coz he never face the problem before...
i want to solve this problem as soon as possible coz if the error still appear im going to asked full refund from the seller
a bit info :
phone : the torch is digi set, got around 12-14 months warranty from brightstar (as claimed by the seller)
my simcard : maxis hotlink
I did wipe & Clean data previously..
mayb i need to change to new sim card?
Any suggestion here on how to solve the problem?
coz im planning to subscribe maxis BIS and change my line from prepaid to postpaid..
Maybe u could get a replacement sim card first, give it a try. if the same problem occurs, ask for a refund or exchange another set
