Bold 9780 is considered the perfect Bold bro! Normally I will suggest ppl to go for it IF they have older Bold. Seriously, you cant go wrong with it.

I cant suggest you Bold 9900 though. Its still very new, previews only on stereotype units. You have to wait for it to release first and then give time for them to sunk in among the crowd. Thats when you will get first hand reviews on it.

Torch on the other hand, is also great. For me, they've made a mistake prior and after releasing it to the masses. The OS/firmware was bad. It was slow. The touch sensitivity was horrendous.
They've since improved the firmware but its already too late. Bad reviews already scattered around the net. Those ppl like Engadget and Gizmodo cant be bothered with the improved version to rewrite their reviews. Whats done cannot be undone. Shame on RIM.

Well, yea I guess thats one of the reasons Torch wasn't selling as well as expected? Anyway, at least they managed to fix it with latest firmware.

I wish I have more time....coz Im sure the highly anticipated 9900 and Torch 2 will be out very soon. But the problem is, I need to decide & get a BB in the next couple of days. At the moment, I'm 70% sold on Torch mainly due to its larger screen. biggrin.gif

And by the way, how do you find the batt life on your Torch?

Mine can last 2 1/2 days. I only BBM heavily with my wife. Only once in awhile with my friends. WhatsApp is very rare. Twitter has become my news source, so it is ON 24/7. Overall, I'm not a heavy user. Just surf to wiki or google information that popped up during conversations and such.

Added on August 2, 2011, 10:06 pmOne thing about Torch, its just unfortunate that it was the first device to came out with OS 6. So the OS instability/immaturity really effected the phone's credibility aswell. I find it, quite unfair.

go to the options, status, key in BUYR.

it stops counting after going beyond 250k perma usage.

alternatively use a data usage gauge, which you can get for free in appworld.

well not directly but there are apps where you connect your cctv to a server, and you view your cctv through that app.

try "Supercam", that's what I use for my blackberry clients during testing.

some one from GS offer me RM600 the most if I want to trade my 4 months old BB torch with the new BB 9900. Mind u, mine is Brightstar unit. Might as well u sell it on ur own to get a better price.
