is anone using this "1850MAH SunGlobal blackberry battery FS-1 for blackberry torch 9800"?
i found the original battery cant last me for a day, with moderate use of bbm, email, texing, very less browsing, facebook & twitter. plan to get a higher capacity battery, can anyone here suggest or share what battery are you using for your torch? thanks in advance... |

QUOTE(thirdoption @ Apr 22 2011, 07:23 AM) just wana ask, if i wipe my Torch, will the device be usable? or need to activate like iPhone? and if I do upgrade to official / unofficial update, will my device be usable? what kinda of wipe do u mean here? if u are only wipe your device by using the application in your device, it should be still usable. however, if you wipe ur device by using BBSAK, it will be a complete wipe & u have to re-install your OS, then only u can use it back. I do not have BIS activated for my number so I just want to remove all the emails I have in the phone for use with my current sim card. if your purpose is only to remove all the emails, u can just go to option/security wipe/tick the email, contacts, etc. then type "blackberry" to wipe your emails. i would advice you to back up your sms, contact or other setting that you still need. then restore the data after u have wipe it. |

hi eolmanagement,
if you didnt suft net & download, i would suggest you to use EDGE(2G) ony. then im sure ur battery life will at least keep u up to 12 hours. It has an automatic screen dim sensor besides the speaker, u can try to call then cover it with ur fingers, the screen shall goes black then you wont have any issue on face or ear touching on mute key. if it doesnt goes black, then your torch got problem. Reception issue, i believe it will be more on telco coverage in stead of BB model. Processes slows or lag is due to the processor. 9800 & 9780 has the same processor, yet 9800 need to support huge screen. Logically, it will slow down the phone. I hope you can understand what im trying to tell you. Enjoy ur torch. |
