Samsung LED UA60EH6000M 60'' Series 6 LED for below 5k seems to be a good deal... Apparently it is also backlit led instead of edge lid. Wonder if the 200 CMR is enough... I heard you need a minimum of 400 |

given the choice, would you choose 42" LG 42LM6700 or 40" 40ES6220R? LG is cheaper by 200 bucks. the only downside of LG is not true 120Hz monitor. Looking for input
thx. |

Looking for input Depends how you'd like to watch your Blu-Ray 24p 1080. thx. For 24p (natural motion), LG is using 48hz (2:2) refresh rate when using real cinema mode, the samsung is using 120hz. (5:5). LG's 48hz is still ok with small screen (40 and below) and 8 feet viewing distance. For 55" above i'd recommend 120hz LCD (like LM7600) If you prefer watching with soap opera effect, the 2 sets makes no diffences, by means of judder free performance, however both sets still suffer some degree of artifacts depending on the contents. The true pros for taking LG is the 3D PASSIVE. Note: When LG claim the TV has 120hz, it refers to LED scan rate, the real LCD is half the claimed figure, 60hz. Take note, NOT ALL LED TV supports cinema mode (48hz , 120hz) for 24p playback Some can accept 24hz, but displayed in 60hz. (bad juddering) Some cant even accept 24hz signal. Be sure to check the spec for input signal and cinema/film mode. So far ALL Plasma currently in the market supports cinema/film mode, (72hz or 96hz) with 24hz input. Samsung 200CMR and 400CMR has the same REAL refresh rate for its LCD at 120hz, the 400CMR has higher scan rate for its LED backlight blinking, but they makes no difference imo.Apparently it is also backlit led instead of edge lid. Hi,
Im considering a new TV either Samsung (UA46ES6220R) or LG (LM6700). Kind of leaning towards Samsung because it seems more popular. I'm more interested in Smart TV, Apps, and web browser functions. I'm hoping to use it to watch videos online streaming like TED.com, 1channel.ch, youtube etc. But i read some people saying that the web browser is not user-friendly, very slow connection, and alot of videos does not work due to flash. Is this true? From reading the Samsung website, it states it supports flash and html5. Can you guys give me your thoughts on using the web browsing on your tv so far?
