Saw one display set at senQ for sale,around 8k size is 55in n its a 8 series.

Anyone has any comment / review on the Samsung 55 inch 7100 series LED 3D tv

That would be the 7500 model.. which is a lot more expensive to have that lil more feature.. so I opt for the 7100..

Anyway I've received the TV today, but i was very shocked with the backlight bleeding... I know bleed happens on lcd/led tv but not sure to what level it is acceptable and does samsung entertain replacement unit for backlight bleeding issue?

Then why the shop demos set everthing to dynamic? When ppl buy the thing they expect the same perfotmance.

Yesterday I bought Samsung F7100  55 " for RM 6950 from Supreme Home in Ampang.
2 months ago they quoted me RM 7999 but I told them Harvey Norman Pavillion was having offer at RM 6999 for the Merdeka sales until 31st Aug.
Funny enough when I was at Harvey Norman Ikano they were selling at RM 7999.

I saw in Desa advertistment 2 weeks ago ES7100 55" seliing for RM4xxx but display set.

Hi all, I'm planning to buy a new LED TV set for my living room next month. I already have a Minix Neo X7 running Netflix, Hulu Plus, CloudTV, 1080 mkv rips, etc all very smooth and in full HD, so I don't really care for Samsung's Smartv functions (though if included no problem). Not interested in 3D function either due to very limited content currently available. So here's where I need your experienced help. Budget is between 3K - 4.3K max & minimum screen size is 46 or 48 inches. I'm after d best picture quality & viewing angles possible. Help me with recommendations & if possible store locations to buy.

Hi and thanks for your suggestion. Actually I've been reading up on the F6400 series when I found out that Samsung has released the Samsung Series 6 H6400 as the successor to Samsung Series 6 F6400 (Malaysian Market?).  I see, I might have to stretch my budget (Not a fan of installment plans) a bit more, especially with updated specs like 120Hz refresh rate (Clear Motion Rate 480), Micro Dimming, Wide Color Enhancer Plus and a Quad-core processor for a smoother Smart TV experience. I get that bigger is better but jumping from a 32 inch to 55 inches will break my bank.

Sound advice & seriously considering it, but just to clarify, "a short period of pain" referring to increasing my budget and buying a bigger set or that the H6400 series isn't a good buy over the F6400?

Edit: Paid a visit to HN store @ IKEA. Found out abt d extended warranty & replacement terms. To those who have bought from HN & needed to claim warranty, do they deliver? Cuz extended warranty is costing almost RM600 extra. Also, anyone have idea of LG Led TV 47LA7400 performance? Dealer was recommending I take that over the H6400.

Quick question guys. Going to buy tv in less than 2 hours. I want samsung 50" led full hd tv. I saw one series 5 50" smart tv. Went another shop they said 50" discontinued and new model is 48" series 5.

im considering between lg 47lb6500 and samsung 48h6400 i will need to test on the DSE as well. didnt get to know such problem exists... gosh. buying a tv is hard nowadays.
