QUOTE(selinix @ Jan 30 2013, 12:09 AM) That would be the 7500 model.. which is a lot more expensive to have that lil more feature.. so I opt for the 7100.. Anyway I've received the TV today, but i was very shocked with the backlight bleeding... I know bleed happens on lcd/led tv but not sure to what level it is acceptable and does samsung entertain replacement unit for backlight bleeding issue? try to call samsung service center to ask for help. the technician will come to your house for checking.

led backlight & panel settings never set too high or max, not good for your eyes & your tv as well.
just set to a comfort level will do...

QUOTE(Mea Culpa @ Jan 31 2013, 08:01 AM) Then why the shop demos set everthing to dynamic? When ppl buy the thing they expect the same perfotmance. u know wat is da meaning of 'idiot'? u think every salesman got knowledge of clor tuning like u? they just do sales, simply tune color, & tats y display set sell cheaper & some shop cheat buyer as new set selling to them during delivery to buyer house.

QUOTE(sekkee @ Sep 1 2013, 11:39 PM) Yesterday I bought Samsung F7100 55 " for RM 6950 from Supreme Home in Ampang. 2 months ago they quoted me RM 7999 but I told them Harvey Norman Pavillion was having offer at RM 6999 for the Merdeka sales until 31st Aug. Funny enough when I was at Harvey Norman Ikano they were selling at RM 7999. nice, but if u dont mind bout sizes 55 to 46, actually f7500 46' is selling now rm6099 to rm5999 only at hn... only certain limit time only...

QUOTE(voncrane @ Apr 24 2014, 02:37 AM) Hi all, I'm planning to buy a new LED TV set for my living room next month. I already have a Minix Neo X7 running Netflix, Hulu Plus, CloudTV, 1080 mkv rips, etc all very smooth and in full HD, so I don't really care for Samsung's Smartv functions (though if included no problem). Not interested in 3D function either due to very limited content currently available. So here's where I need your experienced help. Budget is between 3K - 4.3K max & minimum screen size is 46 or 48 inches. I'm after d best picture quality & viewing angles possible. Help me with recommendations & if possible store locations to buy. Thanks. if u dont mind go get da 55 inche f6400 at mid valley hn, selling at rm4699. better get a bigger if your budget is near to it.

QUOTE(voncrane @ Apr 25 2014, 03:17 PM) Hi and thanks for your suggestion. Actually I've been reading up on the F6400 series when I found out that Samsung has released the Samsung Series 6 H6400 as the successor to Samsung Series 6 F6400 (Malaysian Market?). I see, I might have to stretch my budget (Not a fan of installment plans) a bit more, especially with updated specs like 120Hz refresh rate (Clear Motion Rate 480), Micro Dimming, Wide Color Enhancer Plus and a Quad-core processor for a smoother Smart TV experience. I get that bigger is better but jumping from a 32 inch to 55 inches will break my bank. but still, a short period of pain rather than long term pain unless u feel u wanna change tv every 2 years...

QUOTE(voncrane @ Apr 26 2014, 11:33 AM) Sound advice & seriously considering it, but just to clarify, "a short period of pain" referring to increasing my budget and buying a bigger set or that the H6400 series isn't a good buy over the F6400? Edit: Paid a visit to HN store @ IKEA. Found out abt d extended warranty & replacement terms. To those who have bought from HN & needed to claim warranty, do they deliver? Cuz extended warranty is costing almost RM600 extra. Also, anyone have idea of LG Led TV 47LA7400 performance? Dealer was recommending I take that over the H6400. for me, i opt forlg la7400 bcoz i'm 1 of the user, & yes i will pick lg bcoz passive 3d do serve my family well, even my kid aged 8th also know how to enjoy 3d. but, kids do careless with the spec so when u need to use 3d, think carefully whether u want passive or active. & i bought this tv with extended warranty & wall mount totalled rm3.6k at end of 2013...
