I'm very sorry for the confusion. The EH6030 is a special TV that will offer a 120Hz panel and 120Hz in 3D mode, but it will not offer Auto Motion Plus (which offers the judder and blur reduction feature, as well as the frame interpolation feature that gives images that 120Hz feel).

Q: I am confused about what the actual refresh rate is for the Samsung UN46EH6030 in 2D mode. It specifies a refresh rate for 3d mode only. It states "120Hz Panel refresh rate (in 3D mode)".

A: First of all, does it matter? There is no HDTV that can display a real 120Hz signal anyway; they all take max 60Hz @ 1080p. Because it displays 3D content, it is definitely a 120Hz panel inside, so the response time should still be good in 2D. The only thing, besides a true 24p playback, that a 60Hz lacks is motion interpolation, which arguably does not help reducing motion blur. That being said, the EH6030 is not just a EH6000 with 3D support added. Contrary to the EH6000, it does not have Auto Motion Plus, Samsung's name for motion interpolation. So practically, it will behave as a 60Hz TV for 2D content, due to no added frames. But unless you actually want to soap opera effect, do not worry about the EH6030 being only “60Hz” for 2D content. They probably just had to make a tradeoff in term of processing power to add 3D capabilities to the EH6000.

hi can any sifu advice whether 40ES5600R support Flv video file via USB drive?
tks

Samsung E Series supports FLV video format via online streaming and USB. But please be noted that FLV is just a container file format, there are many type of video/audio codec (e.g H264, VP6, etc) can be encoded in FLV file format, but Samsung E Series does not support all type of video/audio encoding, hence you may need to copy the FLV file into USB and try it in shop before purchase.

Those common H264 FLV files from Youtube are playable in that TV...

Hope this help smile.gif

Hi guys, I know this is a thread for Samsung LEDs but just wanted to ask a quick question.
I recently purchased the ps51e8000 plasma from samsung and I've been going through the motions with break-in(typical initial plasma owner ritual but hey still prefer the PQ).
My question is I've tried to use Evangelos Break in slides(http://www.eaprogramming.com/downloads/download_main.htm), however some of the jpeg files can't seem to be red by the tv. Just wondering if there's any issues with jpeg formats on the other samsung smartTVs.

Thanks guys!

Hi,

Does anybody knows where is Samsung LED TV made from? Courts saleman says the panel from Korea and aseembled in Malaysia.

I have checked the back of the 40ES5600 LED TV and printed "Made by Samasung". Doesn't mention any country.

Any complain or cons about 40ES5600 smart TV? Its selling at reasonable price with lots of features.
