i think proper learning n reading is the most important thing. i never have those two and now im at the point where it is very hard to advance. (or is his caused by lack of talent? haha) so, if you have the opportunity, go ahead with classes.

its like yes, you can learn everything by yourself, but a degree will definately helps you in your life in many way

^drumming has its ups and downs in progressing. I got stuck at the same level for say.... 15 months before i actually started getting better. It happens every now and then when you run out of new things to learn. Widen your music selection, it usually helps some.

with pedals? cool, but maybe u can try those that are mounted on a drum set first? u can always get the pedal for the cowbell later on when u feel like upgrading.

tama cowbells are cool, i've tried a few at bents last time.
me myself own a zildjian cowbell, sounds great to be honest. was quite interesting at first when i bought, but kinda been left out already. haha.

go for one dude, it might be interesting.

remember my set is righty n im lefty? well im trying to occupy my right foot with the cowbell n my left foot on the pedal. so, its like a training for lefty who plays right handed kit. ahha. plus, i got an extra pedal after buying the gibraltars. so instead of leaving it to rust, im thinking of cowbells. and i cant seem to get rid of the 'took' 'took' 'took' cowbells sound from my head. lol!

There are only a handful of drummers that plays clinic in Malaysia. And one of them i know is pretty boring(not gonna mention names, but those who visits 'there' often will know who). Usually pros charge pretty high rates, so go to a music school they're pretty qualified.
