QUOTE(gaTO @ Nov 8 2007, 04:26 AM) hey guys..anywhere to learn drums from pro in KL area? *not a drummer* But i know someone who can teach drums in subang area. He currently holds two msian records at age of 19 for drumming, if you consider that pro lol. Then again, theres only a handful of drummers in malaysia, so you drummers probably already know who im talking about xD yep thats him, i personally know him >_>

Jone Yeoh xD At 19, he already broke two malaysian records, one for being the fastest and youngest to complete professional drumming course. Another for playing together with others drummers to break the 50 hour non-stop drumming record.

QUOTE(Party2DMax @ Nov 13 2007, 09:05 PM) one for being the fastest and youngest to complete professional drumming course <--- I googled Arthur Kam and that's the record he holds... or so an article on The Star claims. Well whatever, these two "records" ain't WFD so there's nothing to shout about. Heh, you talk as if you couldve done better. At least he holds some records. Unlike most(if not all) of us here who doesnt even have one, not to mention two!

QUOTE(Party2DMax @ Nov 14 2007, 01:22 AM) All the replies up there. Pls take whatever I say with a mighty dose of salt. Anyway back to the question... do they both hold the record for being the youngest to complete a professional a drum course? I think Arthur holds the record for being the youngest since he completed it at 12. Whereas Jone finished the whole professional course in only a year and a half. Ask around yamaha drum teachers they probably know him lol. But it doesnt matter how many records you hold or how skilled you are. At the end of the day, its how good your music is. Its about how well it soothes the ear when people listen to you play ^^ And there will always be someone better than us. Therefore we just have to work hard and take ourselves to a higher level. Not to compete with others.. Just my dua sen ^^ This post has been edited by Ryuuga: Nov 14 2007, 02:37 PM

QUOTE(Namqul @ Nov 14 2007, 07:17 PM) dang, my bad. i was trying to quote Ryuuga on my comment. and my statement is for ryuuga about how p2dmax play. ahha. Its true i'll admit i've not seen him play before neither do i know of his music background. Heck, i barely know any of you here lol. I was only here what a week or so? That aside, i know there are people who have dared to try and succeed. And for those who didn't don't have the right to comment. Thats just what im trying to imply. Sorry if i sounded harsh and offended anybody, didnt mean to Just want to clarify things ^^ Back to the topic minna-san~
