It's supposed to be good because it has auto-focus doh.gif
Accurate or not that's a different story.

This i have to agree with you, ditched my Di622 for SB900 few months ago after I used the flash often. The TTL just not very accurate, nowadays i alwayse use M mode on body and TTL on my SB900, accurate TTL everytime brows.gif

i'm using D40 and interested to get Di622. can you or anybody explain more on wireless trigger between D40 and Di622?
thanks
*
I used that pair before, D40 can only trigger Di622 thru TTL pop up flash. If manual pop up flash cannot trigger.

From the example video i watch, it is not accurate n make the video not nice.

I don't think the AF will make it "not nice" lol. Maybe the example video you saw isn't a good sample. I saw many captured by D7000 (same video AF system) are very nice.

But if you insist to turn off... You can just turn the switch at the lens from AF to MF...

Same as zellleonhart said or it'll be more accurate if trying with other faster or sharper lens ?
Yes you can always turn off that feature and use MF instead.

may i know if we using a nikon dslr which not support nikon CLS.. so can sb900 become a master.. and nissin or other brand of speed light become a slave (2nd flash)??.. or we still need to use a radio trigger to connect then together??..

hmm.gif hmm.gif hmm.gif

what i mean is using a more than one flash during photoshoot notworthy.gif

It's common and not because u use cheap short lens.. It's because the built in mic is near the lens area.. Usually if people who are serious about video will use boom mic or external mic.. Even if u manual focus, the sound of the focus is still heard..
