Oh I just found out that 70-200 f/2.8 VR and VRII can work on my D3000       
I'll need to save the rest of my life to afford that lens. 

hi guys, i owned a D5000 a week ago. I found out that when i take a night scenery with tripod, ISO 400, and 3" shutter speed and the picture come out not so sharp and have quite alot of noise . Please advise.

Those plane are OLD. 
Yea, some of them also need some cleaning, especially on the wings.

Such a pretty lens you have there, how is the newer N VRII lens compared to this VRI version? Have you tried out both? How nice if Nikon produce higher end lens with grey colour (not white), haha

Is this grey one has limited production? more expensive than the usual black one? So in love with this.......   mind to share how much u bought? Haha.... Indeed this zoom lens is very nice for portrait too, forging out money for 85mmG, for me I think better get 70-200 which can be used for motorsport event oso

I tot 85mm min focusing distance further? Gotta open up Nikkor lens catalogue to check later, haha.... Buy 1 70200 gao dim, no nit buy another longer end portrait lens 

Yea, got a short portrait for close take, but wanna explore shooting using longer end.....  85cm very close ler, can do very strong bokeh when shooting so close, free muz go try the 85mm 1.8 suit me or not 1st

Ok la, i understand. I also use max zoom on nearest subject sometimes to bring the background looks larger and more bokeh

But then, I still will go for VR2 lo. Allow me to take pictures using slower shutter speed and sharper image from edge to edge compare to the older predecessor

If can manage to find VR1 for below 5k then it's a good deal, was sourcing for a VR1 earlier but all the prices offered are more than 5k, decided to get the VR2 instead after trying.. Now that I am getting FF, heaven for me 

Anybody tried out D7000 properly before at KLPF? I tried at iso200 also see noise at ppl's hair, dunno y.... LCD prob?? I really scratch head ler.... but iso 800 is significantly better than D5000 la
