QUOTE(KTCY @ Nov 3 2010, 03:03 PM) Quite limited. Penang only got 3-4 person using. I tot 85mm min focusing distance further? Gotta open up Nikkor lens catalogue to check later, haha.... Buy 1 70200 gao dim, no nit buy another longer end portrait lens 85mm f/1.4 better in term of portrait as bokeh nicer, lighter. But of course it comes to flexibility as zoom ma And take into account that 70200 min focusing is 1.5metre |

QUOTE(KTCY @ Nov 3 2010, 03:24 PM) 85mm is 85cm only. Owned 2 unit and knows it quite well. Both sold off in the end cause cant really use it when table dining. Yea, got a short portrait for close take, but wanna explore shooting using longer end..... 85cm very close ler, can do very strong bokeh when shooting so close, free muz go try the 85mm 1.8 suit me or not 1stIndeed. 70200 more than enough but weight |

QUOTE(KTCY @ Nov 10 2010, 02:47 PM) Wat u meant by muddy? Sry bad language. ISO 200 looks much worse than D5000 ler (looks like D5k's iso 1200), the guy there say mayb settings prob, I doubt wat settings can affect noise performance other than iso. Since it performs well at high iso, it should b razor sharp at iso200 rite, Haiiz.... need to go try again when it really hit the shelves of Nikon BTS. |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Nov 11 2010, 09:36 AM) I prefer the 51 AF point system. More versatile. Nikon's 51 AF system is reliable, rarely does misfocus. Hahaa.... not fair to compare 5dmk2 to D3 la, hahaa... later Canon fans shoot u, compare 5dmk2 to D700 better Not much comments about D700 versus D3 cause seldom use a D700. But, 1dmk4 vs D3 this I can comment Under low light condition is where the D3 shines, the 1dmk4 is pretty slow in low light condition. Don't even wanna talk about the 5dmk2 which is even slower and a lot of misfires lol as compared to D3 which is spot on! |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Nov 11 2010, 12:42 PM) D700 AF very similar to D3's AF. Wow.... this is a real good info for me!! Den y so many ppl getting 5Dmk2?? I tot is't the best affordable FF cam? Even if you compare 5dmk2 to D700, the D700 AF owns 5dmk2 under low light anytime. Even the D300 will be faster and more accurate under low light compared to the 5dmk2. The only AF system that is probably reasonable is the 1dmk4 and 7D. The 5dmk2 and 1dmk3 and older all have AF issue under low light. |

Anybody here know bout the difference btw the Tamron 17-50 F2.8 VC and non-VC?? I heard and the non-VC version is sharper? Any comments and experience? Initially think of getting the VC, but looking at the review, the non-VC seems more promising.
Need to get a standard zoom now, or any other good lens other then Tammy? I know the sigma, but it's a bit too pricey for me, rather save to get nikkor. |

QUOTE(jepang @ Nov 15 2010, 12:14 AM) sorry for asking... No..... SB600 dont work as wireless unless u buy a 3rd party trigger which is around 120-150. Nissini di622 can only be trigger using ur body's flash, means the optical sensor sense ur body flash, and trigger the di622!! Hope this helps...can sb600 work as a wireless speed light with nikon d3000??.. what about nissin di622?? or we need to use flash trigger?? |
