Test drive the car during raining time. I must say the car handling is good when comes to cornering and went through those wet road quite smoothly...

ABS does not help shorten the breaking distance (aka stop fast), in fact it actually PROLONG the breaking distance when engaged.
your logic fails tremendously.

The truth is:

An ABS generally offers improved vehicle control and decreases stopping distances on dry and slippery surfaces for many drivers; however, on loose surfaces like gravel or snow-covered pavement, an ABS can significantly increase braking distance, although still improving vehicle control.

who one earth drive in Gravel road (oh kampong.. still got) and SNOW... Malaysia have snow...???

ABS in general reduce breaking distance on conventional brake lock... on the discussion scenario on Wira doing 200km/h and having wheel lock without ABS... the passenger is as good as jely...

If you are going to emergency brake at 200km/h, you are going to be as good as jelly with or without ABS. ABS is not miracle braking and it does not reduce braking that significantly. At 200km/h, you'd need a good distance to stop. We all can see supercars with super big brakes and most that crash out due to high speed emergency braking because big brakes and ABS does not equate to miracle braking.

You don't need gravel road to increase braking distance. Our country is famous for rain and water activates the ABS easier than gravel. A locked brake can dig through the water into the road while an ABS activated brake will not. Yes, you will retain steering with ABS but steering is useless if you have no place to steer to avoid the obstacle.

The most important thing to remember is that ABS allows you to control the vehicle but it is not miracle braking. You have to assume braking distance just like driving a car without ABS.

With ABS there is much of a control during emergency breaking at high speed (assume 200km/h) without ABS locking brake at 200!!! wow I think the car will go side ways and fly 5 storey high turtle...

Got a quik question, does anyone know where can I service my CRZ when it comes? Mine is on its way, thus thinking of the best SC for me to service my CRZ.
Thanks
Edit : i m in Klang Valley, any SCs within Selangor or KL is fine with me as long as they are good.
