How do you set up dual-monitor with 5670 using both VGA and DVI ? I only have two DELL LCD supporting VGA and DVI.

It should be auto detect on the computer, just go to the CCC to enable display to both simultaneously and you're good 2 go

Thank you. It somehow doesn't detect one of them, maybe its a problem on the 3rd party adapter.

Do you use your GPU to play games more or see benchmarks only? If you only want to play with benchmark always, get the Nvidia now.
Else, get the AMD. AMD Radeon HD6870 pawns GeForce GTX470 in most games also. If it's OCed, it pawns GeForce GTX460 OCed easily as well as the GeForce GTX470 OCed.

yeah... should not always looks at the benchmarks.... i think the game play frame rate is important and also the stability especially the minimum frame-rate... as most people here notice, certain benchmark nvidia wins and some AMD Radeon wins... so best look at the angle where you use the card most.. if gaming i think AMD now has good performance for the $$$.

I think GTX470 @ 800MHz will beat HD6870 @ 1000 MHz in games (from Tweaktown benchmarks).

Try not to compare ATI 6000 series with 400 series, don't forget, Nvidia 500 series is going launch on December. It is not to far from what we have seen now. But of course, now nvidia's bullet is just 400 series. XD

I hope there are more competitives on December, especially if... and only if Nvidia releases 560. shocking.gif

now current high end stream is 6850<5850<6870<5870<6950<6970<5970<6990.

The news stated the 6970 performance will be much similiar or a bit higher than 480, 6950 will be btw 5870 and 6970. Those who own 5970 can really skip this generation as it still beat almost entire 6000 series (except 6990) out. blink.gif

Just googled something just now,
it seems Radeon HD6870 can be OCed a lot too(not as much as Radeon HD6850).
http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/3610/sapp...ked/index3.html

Note that Radeon HD6870 is VERY NEW! The DRIVER haven't gone MATURE YET.
The up coming drivers will boost the performance for Radeon HD6870 definitely!
So, generally, current benchmarks are not very accurate basically.

i dun buy the story dat gtx580 gonna launch in December.
even if it launch, it will definitely a paper launch wit real availability on next year.
no way nvidia could get 580 into production so soon.
it must b @ least late q1 2011.

the whole leak thing on nvidia website, i said dey did it on purpose to tek a little spotlight out of Barts launch.

It is a never ending story, by the time u almost waited GTX580 come out, you will starting to hear next gen ATI coming out... and then Nvidia again. IMO just get what you want at the time you want.
