WM phones are smartphones?  rclxm9.gif

I always thought the nokia feature fones were pretty smart. It can wake itself up from sleep to wake me up.  laugh.gif But do remember to turn off the alarm if your heading into the plane. I was on an early flight and had already switch off the phone, it woke itself up to tell me it was time to wake up  sweat.gif  sweat.gif

WOoo hoo!! v6!  this thread got some serious POEWAHHH

so far, mine is okay. No squeaky sound at all...i guess it depends from unit to unit and how you handle your phone or how many times you open and close the back cover....

Nope I don't have squeaky chrome problem nor the loose feel. Maybe it's subjective, but the light feel it has may have put you to thinking it's a defect cause it's not as chunky as the iPhone.
Hey guys, Froyo has the helicopter view in TWlauncher. Very nice! I got 1540 with Voodoo lagfix on JP6. Not impressive, but realtime performance seems a lot faster than the quadrant value.
General use is as fast as JM8/9 (w/2224 quadrant), but I see a tad faster performance in Froyo when it boils down to 100+ apps.

Battery life is good, I didn't restore my apps last night so I don't have batterylife, but when I woke up this morning (after probably 6 hours of standby) battery less by about 5% only. Not bad.

I flashed JP6 twice, the first time I lost market and I don't know how to restore it, tried factory wipe but still not there. So I flashed again.

Went through:
Flash ODIN JM8 (w/ repartition 512.pit)
Flash ODIN JP6 (w/o repartition 512.pit)
Flash ChainFire root (PDA only CF-Root-JP6-v1.2-Busybox-1.17.1.zip)
Flash Voodoo lagfix (PDA only Voodoo 5 pre6)

Here's the links if you guys wanted to try it:
*Note: The KIES method of flashing froyo will not give you froyo cause Samsung pulled off Froyo from the update already.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=788108
http://project-voodoo.org/download

LOL, i've been flashing different firmwares for the past 3 days. I think I'll settle down on this.

Ok. JP6 with Voodoo is good. I am contemplating to install the Darky's ROM though. Many good feedbacks.
Seems like Froyo is nearing stability already.. nod.gif
