if GT435M then should be ok..
but 420 is a no no..

There's a trade off now...
Dell only allow GT435M to go with i7 and GT420M for i5
Therefore, you must sacrifice power efficiency or better performance.

i called them a few times already. 1st time they say "got hold up in factory", 2nd time "part shortage", 3rd "courier slow"....
they say the laptop reached malaysia last thursday... but today already wednesday.. courier service needs 1 week to send from west to sabah ah?...still no call/sms from them.. thats even slower than normal mail...
waste my phone credit only... no result...
i'll never buy online from dell after this..

I ordered mine on the 29th, its only been 3 days and im already itching for it. Plus, dell says it may take UP TO 3 days to give me an estimated delivery date. It has been 3 days, still nothing

you ordered yours on the 29th, and it says 3 days to give an estimated delivery date. i believe when the estimated delivery date for your order would be somewhere around xmas since i ordered mine on the 18th and right now its only in manufacturing build complete. my estimated delivery date was originally on 13th of december but they've just changed it to 8th today..

just wait for a while...my EDD onli out after like 5 to 6 days....

My Dell laptop has given me plenty of headaches over the years (way back when, the warranty was not nearly as good as what it is now). Yet I still continue to buy them?

Maybe because only Dell had customisable high end laptops (at least until the goddamn new XPS came along) and great in-home service.

Bro, I got the same problem as you. My notebook was in Malaysia already last week, supposed deliver on Monday. Then suddenly the EDD changed to 14th Dec. After many many calls to them I found out that the shortage is actually the bag (at least for my case). The notebook is already available but in Penang. What I did was call them and ask to deliver separately. Got my notebook 2 days later (yesterday) and still waiting for the bag.
