@J.J: Ahaha, it is good to get a DVD media. If you want faster startup time, better reinstall windows 7 and install only necessary drivers, Dell quickset, and webcam software. Make sure you have created factory restore discs (2 DVDs required) before format your laptop

xps 14 got speaker but no subwoofer and display port.
the speaker located on top of the keyboard

xps 15 got speaker and subwoofer and display port.
the speaker located on left and right of the keyboard

how much they offer u? really want to know.. hehee

sandy bridge cores arent much different compared to arrandale cores.. for mobile cores of course
but for desktops its a huge difference, so there's no harm getting arrandale cores
i mean if u compare arrandale cores with sandy bridge cores,

take i5 540m which is clocked at 2.53 and turbo to 3.06,  the closest sandy bridge core to the arrandale 1
is i5 2520m which is 2.5 at basic speed and 3.2 turbo (only 0.6 ghz faster) and i5 2540 2.6/3.3 turbo

doesnt make much of a difference and plus, new = expensive

however for the i7 models, sandy bridge is significantly faster compared to arrandale but the cons is faster = hotter
i'd prefer a cooler i5 arrandale than wait my life for expensive new sandy bridge cores..

and if u hate xps 15, why are u even here?

does this unit supports switching the graphic card  ? i see the pikom is around the corner, im still thinking want to buy it now or not. evertyime the pc fair start, new technologies come, old spec price drop, just worried after getting this unit the new techs come, it will be a huge lost @@
