QUOTE(cowithgun @ Dec 29 2010, 02:28 PM) sorry for long silence... has been busy with work and holiday and stuff... i m back! sandy bridge is not that great if you have a dedicated GPU like 5650. i did a comparison between the preview sandy bridge graphic performance with my 5650; the 5650 double the performance of a sandy bridge. check it out hereif you play game, i dont recommend without dedicated GPU... Added on December 29, 2010, 1:29 pmsorry dude, i m not using SpeedFan myself because the GPU-z get the job done in my notebook. give it a try, may be GPU-z will monitor the CPU fan as well! but what i can tell, your temp is really not good... Added on December 29, 2010, 1:30 pmdid you update to ATI driver? if so, u need to uninstall it properly and reinstall the Acer driver. Added on December 29, 2010, 1:31 pmupgrading RAM will NOT void warranty, even if you do it yourself bro, got sticker said void warranty if remove..how?

QUOTE(zulboydarn @ Dec 30 2010, 08:49 PM) really?? can anyone confirm this?? i wanted to buy 4gb tomorrow.. so just tear the sticker r? the 2 x stickers that cover the screws are meant for 7 days return policy. if it's gone, you cant do the 1 to 1 change with the notebook within 7 days. but it wont void warranty. welcome to the club

This laptop has a backlit keypad right? I didn't see anything @Harvey Norman Pavillion.
Is there any other Acer that has as similar battery lifespan but with an i3?

It is a steal nonetheless. It is a very good and light-weight notebook. Acer has done it again.
