QUOTE(cowithgun @ Dec 21 2010, 12:32 AM) better push them to replace for u. otherwise, after warranty period, u will tend to regret it... about BatterCare, there are 2 options: 1. in BatteryCare, go to Setting, Advance, check on "Run in startup as Administrator" <-- i m not using this since i dont like it start everytime i start my notebook. i only use BatteryCare when i need it 2. Right click on BatteryCare.exe, select Properties, go to Compability, check on "Run this as Administrator" really they will replace? because i think its my fault during installation of the screen protector? or i should take out the SP before sending it for warranty? and where is the nearest to claim warranty in subang?

Acer Call Center: 1-800-88-1918 [9.00AM to 6.00PM / Monday to Friday] Tel: 03-8026 6226 Fax: 03-8024 5100 tell them you notice the dead 'line' of pixel recently. i heard they can replace it within an hour if they have stock. u should really push for them to replace it for u. i will do the same, even if it means that i need to send to Singapore coz i cant live with having a deal line of pixel in the screen!

people that looking for ultra thin notebook can acer and a few other vendors gonna introduce ultra thin notebook in Q1 2011. they are copying the assembly technique in MacBook Air to make LCD panel just as slim. a strong possibility of using Sandy Bridge as wel. How bout Hitachi harddisk compare with WD harddisk? from what i read previously, LG screen looks better than AUO. AUO is very common found in DELL notebook. my batch actually uses pretty good WD HDD, according to CrystalDiskMark found here

QUOTE(ngkhanmein @ Dec 23 2010, 11:23 AM) 3.87GB usable display. how to make it 4Gb any1 pro solve it? to be honest, that 0.13gb is really too little... If you're playing games and want more ram available, you can always use SmartRam to free some Ram.. Again, SC2 only uses around 1.3gb+ ram.. still more than enough.. Doesn't mean that if you have more the performance of the game would be better... It's the bottleneck of the GPU by the end of the day... And loading times would be because of HDD.. Just want to share with you all that I have unlocked the hidden Intel menu in BIOS that allow me to configure many settings, including changing IGD memory, etc, etc. Too many settings I am not familiar with, will definitely spend some time to research about those. I was using steps provided by kizwan here. Although the steps was done on BIOS 1.17, it is identical to 1.19 after some verification. *WARNING* I don't recommend for you to do this as it will void warranty and any mistake could be disastrous *WARNING* This post has been edited by cowithgun: Dec 24 2010, 01:10 AM

SmartRam software? i wish load ram more than load HDD.. i just wanna fully utilize 4gb ram since win 7 64 bit can max 4gb. my bios can't edit memory mapping.. is hidden and locked by them for a purpose gua.. i will leave it.. since flash new bios doesn't solve it.. anyway thanks bro..
