QUOTE(cowithgun @ Nov 19 2010, 08:17 AM) Highest is as posted earlier (by running CPUID in background, and play for longest 4.5 hours) Oh thx! I just installed the game on my laptop haha... 1. CPU - 89! 2. GPU - 79 I just realized i havent post any frame rate for Darksiders, it something between 50-60 FPS. Sometimes it drops to 40 plus, but that is still very smooth. I finally completed the game. Game time reported that I spent 23 hours (but i play for 3-4 weeks! and the game didn't calculate how many times I died and replay some scene... from the end scene, there will be sequel... i m looking forward for it Hmm, off topic but something's wrong with mine though... As GT335M should be similar to HD5650, I am thinking I should get frame rate like yours but instead I get only 40-50 and drops to 25-30 when slashing.... It's at 1366x768 resolution ><... |

Well I have VSync off as well... the CPU and GPU both around 80.. But i only played like 15-20 minutes, so can't really compare to yours...
Hmm but I installed the game in my partition drive instead, that shouldn't really affect the frame rate right? Added on November 19, 2010, 10:37 amAnyways, I think it really varies.. just now i just played and it's around 30-40 when fighting... still ok actually... But sure is addictive the game LOL This post has been edited by eugenechiuu: Nov 19 2010, 10:37 AM |

QUOTE(cowithgun @ Nov 25 2010, 02:24 AM) There is really no need for me to overclock this notebook. With 7.6k in 3dmark06, I can play any game at 1366x768 resolution with mostly High setting. Wah, can OC till so high! Original is 600/800 right? Can try plug to Full HD monitor to play games now haha...So, it has been a month since I get this notebook, and I haven't do any OC. I finally decided to test this baby for it's OC capability. Not that I need it, but 5650 is just so easy to OC. I haven't try OC the CPU since I heard there is negative impact on gaming. So, the result: 1. Core Speed = 760 2. Memory Speed = 1100 3. GPU temperature MAX = 81 even after 2 hours of testing 3dMark06 = 9730 ![]() |

QUOTE(cowithgun @ Nov 25 2010, 11:00 AM) Default is 550/800. Some forks in NBR can break 10k score... i think my memory speed limit is just 1100, some using 1200! Well yea I guess it really differs for everyone although it's the same GPU.... My limit for GT335M is much lower to what many other ppl have achieved also...What's ur max temp when playing games after OC? |

QUOTE(nicotine @ Dec 2 2010, 02:21 AM) hi bros, wow, u got the 2 years extension for free? Why didn't you consider U41Jf then? It's just few hundred more but I guess would have better keyboard...I just purchased a 4820TG... I found that both cpu core temp load varies by 9c to 10c.. is this normal? Core temp should be pretty much consistant with a plus minus of 1~3c in diffrence am i right ? tq tq My personal review. Stuff i hate. a) Poor build quality, there's no solidness on this laptop. LCD lid built quality is totally hopeless, I had a bad feeling that I might wreck the panel in the future. It's just way to fragile for outdoor use lol. b) The keyboard is a failure. It feels numb and dead just like those 10 year old jamed keyboard. c) Poor wifi signal reception and max speed of 65Mbps for N ? yawann d) Poor cooling system, perhaps a fan which could churn out more cfm then the current one might help. Why the hell i bought this ... a) Because it's cheap, 2600 with 3 year warranty. b) The 8 hours hype. |
