Excellent service, great nurses. They will automatically come into the room for help when they hear baby crying. My entire stay in pcmc, most of the time, it was nurses coming in to change baby diapers for me.

Also, u see nurses really handling the babies with lotsa tlc. A few of them always kiss my baby on his cheeks to pacify him when he's crying.

Good.

As expected from a highly ranked private hosp.

But, I would have not think for second time for the price.

Anyway congrats!

There 's another gynae that did the deliveries too. His name is Suhaimi Isa. Both Suhaimi also do deliveries.  But i choose Suhaimi Isa instead after read several reviews about him.I can say Suhaimi Isa is a good gynae too. He listen and always there for you as  i still remembered an incident where the nurse has made a wrong appointment for me.. then they called up Dr. Suhaimi Isa and he appearead thereafter.
First checkup is usually very expensive. My first check up cost me around RM300, then after that it mostly RM130 - 150.
It depends what kind of ultrasound you did..2D is the cheapest and 4D is the most expensive.
I only bought Calcium med from Columbia while the rest of the meds i bought it from pharmacy. It is cheaper that way.
I agree on this. They will  turn up asap once they received a call from the nurse. Nurses are very helpful and not fierce. hehehe..
In terms of costing, i did ask last time. they said for normal delivery is 3.5K and c-sect is aroun 6k and above...
Gonna deliver my baby here too.. I'm in my 31 weeks now. sweat.gif

I am currently seeing Dr. Suhaimi Hassan at his clinic at Bandar Baru Selayang. The clinic has this weekly "Klinik Pakar Sakit Puan" and he will be only available at that time. The good thing that I like is it open from 6PM to 10PM, so no need to take half day leave to do check up. Price is standard i guess, around RM100-200 per check up with ultrasound and meds.

Didn't know he is from Columbia Asia until he suggested that I do delivery with him there. Read few blogposts mentioning on him, so far so good. And found out about Dr. Suhaimi Isa also on the net, all good reviews. thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

As the money will be involved, will see how my pregnancy goes cause now still early to decide.

Hehe, dont stress. Not good for you and your baby.

Relax and get some helps from your hubby, family and colleague.

However, it is the right time for you to look for doctor so you can establish some bonding with the Dr.
So, you will be more confident when delivering the baby.

Hope there are forumers here could help you.

Paul Tay is an excellent doctor. No, I don't get commission for referrals to him, but I felt that he deserved the credits for me being successful with my natural birth. My baby was born at 3.92kg on natural birth. For such huge babies, most doctors would have strongly recommended c-sec. Not with Paul Tay. He was pretty supportive of me going for natural birth, but did also highlight to me that there could be a 20% risk of emergency c-sec, if things go beyond his control.

Consultation is usually RM100, inclusive of ultrasound. He will never push or force you to purchase supplements from PCMC. You can just get the medicine names from him, and buy it outside.

Quite a positive doctor, doesn't tell you things that will make you worry too much, and also not much of unnecessary test. With him for 10 months, the only test which I did was the down syndrome test.

Hope the information helps! smile.gif
