Congrats to daddy to be. Already a 1 month father here.
My wife delivered at Pusrawi KL. We took single room for deliver n ward. Total cost for 3d2n with epidural = rm4500.
But, we pay using insurance panel.
If pay cash, our Dr cud have offer a package of 2d1n at rm2350. But this is given you give normal delivery without any other complication.
Of course extra cost will be implied if have to take epidural or stay for another night.

Hope this helps.

Excellent service, great nurses. They will automatically come into the room for help when they hear baby crying. My entire stay in pcmc, most of the time, it was nurses coming in to change baby diapers for me.

Also, u see nurses really handling the babies with lotsa tlc. A few of them always kiss my baby on his cheeks to pacify him when he's crying.

Good.

As expected from a highly ranked private hosp.

But, I would have not think for second time for the price.

Anyway congrats!

7 weeks only.. need to look for doctor now.. headache..

Hehe, dont stress. Not good for you and your baby.

Relax and get some helps from your hubby, family and colleague.

However, it is the right time for you to look for doctor so you can establish some bonding with the Dr.
So, you will be more confident when delivering the baby.

Hope there are forumers here could help you.

My wife is 5 weeks pregnant, so I've got to hunt for O&G for a regular checkup already?
*
Why not?

As for us, we go for our first meeting with our then Gynae at 5 weeks.

Pro is that you can receive advice from specialists.

Con is you have to spend a little every month if you are going to the Private. Unless your company or insurance covers you.

Thanks. So I guess, I've to call the hospital, set up an appointment a particular doctor, and proceed from there? I can't simply walk-in?
*
Not sure with other hospitals.

But, usually for first timer, appointment is needed.

No problem at all.

Just a phone call away you could set an appointment.

However, before that.

You might want to identify the hospital you are going to. The criteria depends on you. Could be location wise or targeted specialists. Or it could be price wise.

Then, you might want to research a bit about the potential gynae to deliver your baby. Do they have a proven track record or not? You can consider from there.

No problem at all.

You could just go to any local clinic that has scanning service.

And yeah, you are in control on who you want to meet and whrere you want to deliver the baby.
