last week, my wife labour at Pantai Cheras, Dr KK tan
3d2n, natural born with epidura + 3nos pills for labour.  1 night in labour room, 1 night in double room, 1 night in single room.

Haha total damage

Btw, I heard QHC nurses are rude and will keep on persuading you to take epidural . My friend was being constantly persuaded to take epidural during her contraction even 5 minutes before baby come out

Anyone had such experience from QHC?

I've seen a lot of my friends choosing to go to government hospitals for delivery. They say it's much cheaper compared to the famous private hospitals, and they would rather save the money for milk powder or diapers.

With that being said, is there a big difference in the quality of service provided? I'm trying to understand why someone would want to deliver their baby in private hospitals when government hospitals also offer the exact same service.

Please do enlighten me on this.

eventually when private center unable to deliver due to complication, they will send to government hospital. why? because most government hospital has the most advance, complete, and expensive facilities.

Just have my boy deliver vis C-Sec in hospital serdang,
total cost RM163
6D class 3 ward (doc doesnt allow 1st class due to complication): RM18
Lab charges: RM20
C-Sec: RM100
Equipment Charges: RM25

If last days change to first class, est cost will be RM2k as the charges bracket follow the highest group, since first few days will always be class 3 and my wife got use to it dy (as its no AC), so no need to change to class 1 on the 2D1N.

Ya, due to the 7 days 6 nights stay. Overall the services provided are really good. Nurses are friendly and helpful. Doctors are knowledgeable. Only thing is 3rd class ward is hot. But gotta trade something for something. Oh well, at least it saves me lotsa money for other stuffs for baby like diapers etc.

Hi, as mentioned it is plan / scheduled cesarean.

My obgyn Dr. Tan Hoo Seong is not a Pantai doctor but have own clinic in PJ old town, Good Hope Clinic & have admission right to Pantai Hospital as an external doctor. He is great, I fall ill many times throughout my pregnancy, he gave medication safe for pregnancy to manage my illnesses and my baby is perfectly healthy. Highly recommended.

FPP at Hospital Putrajaya

6D5N 3 days CTG monitoring + emergency csection
Total bill RM4.1K

Actually most of my bill amount comes from my Executive room rate RM300 each day. If no, would be cheaper.
