Hi guys..wife is 3 months preggy with 2nd child..first child deliverd at PPUM..we choose PPUM because normal delivery friendly but end up c-section due to baby condition nt so good...now hvg PPUM in the other hand, looking for 2nd option...heard of Brittania Kajang..read one of the comment on Doc Tan, (he doesnt like to waste time if normal delivery takes long, will go for c-section)...initially from our first baby, after c-section had to wait for 2 yrs for the wound to really cure...and we're not getting any younger..if again c-section, sure kena wait for another 2 yrs for 3rd baby if there's rezeki..

considering FPP putrajaya as we're from Puchong..nearer..easier..

any other recommendations? ...thanks

FPP Putrajaya cost effective. ..wife delivered 2nd child there last April. ...cost 3.5k for 3 nights stay + caesar...thats a quarter what we paid for our 1st one at Ramsay (SJMC) 15.XX K...caesar also
But drawback is u need to take care of ur own baby after deliver for Putrajaya....husband/relative/maid support during stay thr is necessary .....n waiting period uf need 1 or 2 bedded suite....whr hubby/relative can overnight
Also caesar operation for Fpp only evening time as morning n noon reserved for public n emergency case.....tats all i remember after 2 months ....hehe

Taking care own baby is not a draw back. Is a lot better that way. Maybe that is what I will prefer rather than the nurse care for the baby.

My wife just delivered our 1st baby on Sunday nighttime. It costs me RM7k+ in total for normal delivery (assisted). I have doubt about the following charges (Doc Gynae is external & he is billing us separately).

Hospital Charges (RM2749, 3D2N for Mommy & Baby, 18-20 June)
Hospital: Tung Shin
For Mommy: RM1657
For Baby: RM1092 (inclusive of 2D1N phototherapy)

Doctor Charges (RM4300, to be settled separately with Doctor)
Delivery Midnight (10+ - 11:30pm, Sunday): RM3000
Induction: RM300
Vacuum: RM600
MRP: RM800
Misc: RM200
Discount: RM500

Hi,

I am new in this forum. We recently shifted to KL and staying in Bangsar South and here I am looking for good hospital to deliver my baby. My Due date is in August first week.

Right now people gave me option like UMSC, UMCC and Assunta.

We are confused which one is better.

Last two years my wife delivered at Hospital Selayang. Planning for FPP but too late already. So have to choose the normal one. Occupied a 4 bedded room. And guess what...on the day of the delivery the labor room is full. They decided to do it in the room itself because no other place is available. I was like....what??? At that time my wife was really in pain. Suddenly they say can move to a treatment room nearby. I was really panic as hell. A lot of things running in my mind like are there enough equipment in there etc.. Plus...No doctor is attending. Only an MO and nurses. We went through it at last. They did a good job by the way. But for me its a horrifying experience. My first time some more.

Total charge: RM350

Hi all,

My wife and I tried Columbia PJ for our third daughter and we are very well pleased with their services.

Basic Delivery Package was RM3,300. After we added the induction, epidural and baby costs we ended up paying RM6K+ Sorry I cannot remember the exact details, but we did not pay more than RM7K that's for sure.

Epidural itself was RM1K + I believe.

We had originally gone to SJMC for the first few check-ups but realised that they increased their delivery package from RM5K (back in 2013 when we had our second daughter) to RM7.5K for basic delivery package! It was way out of our budget and thankfully we came across Columbia PJ.

Ample parking, nurses and doctors at your service. Administration and registration staff were very helpful. I guess it is still new (about 2 years+ now) so not that busy yet.

Hope this brief 'review' helps!
