QUOTE(bluemountain2010 @ May 22 2015, 01:21 PM) Recent experience with UMSC last April. Which gynae u choose?Normal delivery + epidural + episiotomy + babycare + 2D1N private room = RM4500+ Husband is allowed to accompany throughout whole delivery process and stay overnight with wife. The doctors and nurses are professional & friendly, will choose this hospital again for next baby |

Below for reference only, my baby discharged today after 4 days
Heard from my Gynae likely private docs will increase price or will stop doing baby delivery as the insurance term and price for these docs had changed, apparently they still need cont pay premium for 25 more years even after retirement (40-70k per annum) as insurance covers the baby the deliver up to 25 yrs in case of anything arise from the delivery faulted by docs Hospital - SJMC Deposit required before delivery (7k for normal delivery, 12k for cesarian) Mum: Delivery - Induced - planned for natural but last min emergency cesarean Epidural - yes, after taken normal injection pain killer Room - Single Nights - 4D4N (admit night discharge day) Total Bill -RM10.7k (6.7k hospital charges, 4k doctor charges including anesthetist for epidual injection) Baby Jaundice - yes, 1 whole day of photo therapy Injection - BCG & another dunno wat injection Nights - 3D3N total bill - RM1.8K (include 600+ for pediatric) |

QUOTE(trd_passo @ May 29 2017, 02:59 PM) Hi guys..wife is 3 months preggy with 2nd child..first child deliverd at PPUM..we choose PPUM because normal delivery friendly but end up c-section due to baby condition nt so good...now hvg PPUM in the other hand, looking for 2nd option...heard of Brittania Kajang..read one of the comment on Doc Tan, (he doesnt like to waste time if normal delivery takes long, will go for c-section)...initially from our first baby, after c-section had to wait for 2 yrs for the wound to really cure...and we're not getting any younger..if again c-section, sure kena wait for another 2 yrs for 3rd baby if there's rezeki.. FPP Putrajaya cost effective. ..wife delivered 2nd child there last April. ...cost 3.5k for 3 nights stay + caesar...thats a quarter what we paid for our 1st one at Ramsay (SJMC) 15.XX K...caesar alsoconsidering FPP putrajaya as we're from Puchong..nearer..easier.. any other recommendations? ...thanks But drawback is u need to take care of ur own baby after deliver for Putrajaya....husband/relative/maid support during stay thr is necessary .....n waiting period uf need 1 or 2 bedded suite....whr hubby/relative can overnight Also caesar operation for Fpp only evening time as morning n noon reserved for public n emergency case.....tats all i remember after 2 months ....hehe |
