I have subscribed to the FPP plan but not much detail have been told to us about the package... let said it is due date , just go to emergency ward and they will bring us to the FPP labour room?

Anyone deliver under Dr chia from puchong clinic chia and loo before..I am deciding between him.and Dr lim mei Jun from. sunway.. one thing bad about Dr lim is she don't do natural delivery only c sec.. I haven decided which one I wan .. I knw her skills of c sec is very good ..

Went to HUSM for delivery of my first baby. Overall no complaint. The service was okay and the food was also okay. Wife delivered normally. The next day discharged around noon.
The doc that handled the delivery were all professional. I was there beside my wife. The doc who did the stiches also done a good job. Overall i am surprised.

The cut is clean and one week later the wound heal very well. Like a ballpoint line drawn over her lower abdomen

Hi, anyone can give me review for SENTOSA KPJ? Planning to deliver my baby boy there but couldn't get much review for this hospital online..

I know there is one lowyat member is not satisfied with this hospital but that was since 2012...

Comments: tbh, prefer Dr. Loo as he is more caring, explained in detail. Dr.Chia is always in rush (express consultation). Even for my csec, felt like we have no time to think and response, and there comes the baby! But we have to trust his decision.

A bit of sharing of my delivery;

I just had my emergency csec by Dr.chia beginning of 2017 at sjmc.

About the cut
-The cut is clean, low (can still wear bikini without showing the cut I think), about 12cm long.
-wound heal very well by 3rd day. No worries on taking bath on 3rd day. Was given green light to discharge by 3rd day. Follow up visit on the following week at clinic by Dr Loo.


-water bag broke at 12.30am, arrived sjmc at 1.20am.
-contaction started at 3am, every 5mins. 4cm dilated
-anesthetist Dr Muraly administrated epidural at 8.45am, 6cm dilated. (Dr very skillful and supportive and professional, no pain at all during and aft injection)
- Dr Chia arrived at 10am, 6cm dilated. Aft examination, he concluded that I need to go for csec reason being:
1. Dilation too slow (some kind of med was added to my drip to accelerate dilation but doesn't seems to work)
2. Baby heart beat not regular
3. Baby not engage at right position

- we were overwhelmed by Dr.chia's decision and wasn't ready at all for cesarean. He has given us another 4 hours to wait, with condition: if baby heart beat drop again he will go for csec immediately.

-it was just 10mins aft he left the labor room (he monitored heart rate at nurse counter), nurses came in to tell us they are getting me ready for csec as baby heart beat just dropped ( but went back normal rate). Still couldn't accept the fact, but no choice.

- all and all, only 20mins in operation theater, all done. Baby was born, 2.9kg.

About SJMC
- very very supportive of breastfeeding
- has lactation consultant to check on your breastfeeding
- very cheerful nursing nurses (you know ur baby is in good hands)
- very caring and attentive general nurses

My 1st and 3rd child delivered by Dr. Chia and 2nd one is delivered by Dr. Loo. I personally like Dr. Chia. All three of my kids is by natural birth. During birth I personally feel Dr. Chia is better than Dr. Loo

I'm a dad to be in October this year, however both me and my wife live and work in Singapore, but we are Malaysian.

At the moment, we are going for the regular checkup with a Singapore gynae here, but we are thinking of during the 6 month of pregnancy, we will also engage another gynae in KL as we are planning to give birth in KL, it would be easier as both our family are also in KL.

Just want to check whether anyone has experience giving in in Pantai Hospital Bangsar and engaging Dr. Paul? Read some reviews about him and all seems to be good, and also the price of giving birth in that hospital, does anyone know the estimate cost for it?

Had anyone tries dr cc Chung and dr kk tan? I still can't decided which to opt for and my due date is this coming June....

Dr cc Chung I heard his c-Sec very good but natural birth so-so only. Stitch might not good for natural birth... He very detail each time my visit...

Dr kk tan I heard very good in natural n remember every patience worries but he not so detail in ultrasound scan but friendly...

One is glean eagles hospital n one is Pantai Cheras... I opt for single room.... Anyone can give suggestion. I just worry I might have emergency c-Sec as my bb now consider underweight....

Anyone delivered at KPJ Damansara Specialist before? Will be deliver soon and decided to go for this hospital for delivery...but not really sure about the costs there.

As per the gynae said, natural delivery need roughly 8-9k while caesarean can up to 15k and above 😮

Anyone got the experience with the hospital or with the gynae there?

I was so surprised that the Dr only came in when the baby's head visible??!! 😱
