i don't think is true, government hospital usually will opt for normal delivery. and in most blogs i read about FPP at putrajaya, mummies went for normal delivery.

i'm also taking the fpp scheme at putrajaya, hope will be a good experience since is quite highly rated smile.gif

Hi,

My wife and I seeing Dr Liew from Assunta. EDD :end-Dec'15.

Queried admission for pricing and this is what I got.

Natural : $6-7K
C-sec : 10-12K

Note that the gynae will not be able for service after the 31st Dec.

Hence (for backup purposes) can I get a new gynae should the baby pass the EDD ?

Can I get any proper recommendation for areas
a. Cheras
b. PJ

Thanks

First Baby: HUKM - FOC (Normal Delivery)
Second Baby: Selayang- FOC ( Placenta Eruptio/Premature Delivery/Emergency Delivery/Baby and Mom in ICU for few days)
Third Baby: Should be FOC too.. Going back to HUKM. Due in Jan 2016. Praying for a smooth delivery.

To those who has phobias about gov hospitals, I would like to remind you all.. Once upon a time, Most of us were born in the General Hospitals too smile.gif Its not too bad.
That s if you can wait patiently. Yes the ques are long. Yes sometimes the staff are rude therefore know your rights.

Why pay so much for delivery @ Private Hospitals... ?
See here for the actual cost of delivering in a Government Hospital:

Hi all. new dad to be here smile.gif

My wife expected to due on June 2016. She's currently working as MO at one of the Goverment Hospital in Klang Valley
and Im currently working in private sector also in Klang Valley

And from what she told me, she entitled of first class treatment at Goverment Hospital depends on avaibility.
And my current company also support up to rm3.5k for maternity cost for spouse

My question now is what do guys think is the best option for my wife and is there any way to use my company maternity allocation for her?

I plan for her to deliver at private but the cost is too high and afraid if there is C-section then the cost would be higher.

Pls recommend me best Hospital huhu

You want to try new Govt Hospitals? Eg: Putrajaya Hospital?
The charges should be the same as in the link i gave previously.

You mentioned that your company provide RM3.5k for maternity purpose.

Many Govt hospital nowadays provide this service:

You should call the hospital for further details.
