Hi All,

New to this topic,my wife is currently at her 3rd months for our first baby....just want to understand how it works between government hospital and private hospital..
My plan is actually go for private hospital or half private half government hospital, and I have shortlisted UMSC and Putrajaya general hospital, anyone has experience in there??and how much the cost?

Besides, I heard that to be entitled to government hospital, one must done her monthly checking at least once in the government hospital, issit true?

Thanks.

Hi,
i already have appoinments in FPP putrajaya this coming dec with Dr.Hamidah. My dilemma is,some of my friends said the Dr don't like to wait and they like to do an emergency czer (not sure which doctor) .Is that true?is not that im against czer but i want a normal delivery.
*
hi, same with me. nahh not all docs like that. this will be my second time with fpp but this time i got dr hamidah. my first one was dr hazim but during my delivery was dr hamidah who conducted it. been in labor room from 4 am and only deliver at 10 am. yes i was able to deliver via normal rclxms.gif

May i know what are the charges for FPP?
*
this weekend will be my first checkup for my 2nd time taking fpp

i think for registration, one time pay rm160. then for every checkup maybe once a month or twice a month, each ranging from rm 60 - 100 if i am not mistaken.
later during delivery you need to deposit rm3k. then once final charge is out they will give the balance or you need to topup. you can just call or walk to hpj.. cool2.gif

Hi Dixon, what's the criteria to register for FPP Putrajaya? I understand that we can only made appointment after we have a "buku merah" from Klink Kesihatan? Can we choose to follow up everything at Putrajaya Hospital from beginning of 2months pregnancy until delivery?
*
u still need to follow up at KK. with the gynea at FPP just once in a month n depends. i think they will only start the appt on or after 6mths pregnant. but need to book it earlier.

Hi guys,

If i have plan to go Hp Putrajaya for delivery, and read correctly, 1st step is to get the red book from KK.. After getting the red book from KK, i can go back to my regular clinic for check up correct? No need to go back KK for check up?

Then after final 2-3 months due delivery i need to go back to Hp Putrajaya for check up?
*
you mean at hp putrajaya you want to sign on the fpp programme?

for KK yes, get that red book first then continue check up at regular/private clinic.

Yes correct.. If i want to sign on the FPP program.. i still need the red book?
*
yes. still u need to go KK for checkup. even if u sign in for FPP. they will just set the appt like for once in a month.
like me, i still went to KK for checkup as well. so later in your red book, there will be comments from FPP doctors n also KK nurse/docs as well

Is it important to have the red book even if I don't plan to deliver in government hospitals?
*
