I just came back from hospital putrajaya. Their FPP restarts again today. So u can go over to see the gynae... No problem. When I called them yesterday to confirm my appt, the staff told me FPP was on hold. Lucky I still went over and they registered me as a FPP patient. But really long wait though. wink.gif

I'm due in July. Actually I called to make appt sometime in end Feb or beginning March. They initially gave me appt date on 25th Apr. Then last min called me and say change to 21st May. I was worried they will reschedule my appt again so decided to call up yest to confirm my appt. that was when I knew about the FPP being on hold. Apparently, there was a notice at their registration side that stated FPP was on hold since 13th April.

From what I know.. The mummies who experienced FPP before, u have to call to make appt before going over for registration. They don't layan walk-in now due to too many patients. Why don't u call them again and try to make another appt? Maybe they will have a slot for u. I think they do have patients that don't turn up last minute one. smile.gif

Dear all,

I have an query. I saw putra jaya stated in their website that we need to pay deposit during registration. Is the deposit refer to the amount of RM3000?

In case if during delivery time, unable to go to putra jaya, will they refund for the deposit?

I was not asked to pay the rm3K deposit during registration. Just required to pay rm110 for first time registration.

The RM3000 is when you admit to hospital for delivery

Recent experience with UMSC last April.
Normal delivery + epidural + episiotomy + babycare + 2D1N private room = RM4500+

Husband is allowed to accompany throughout whole delivery process and stay overnight with wife.

The doctors and nurses are professional & friendly, will choose this hospital again for next baby smile.gif

Hi Jessc111,
Did you manage to speak to Putrajaya Hospital about FPP?
Coz I wrote email to them and they replied saying it's FULL for July/August.
Not sure if they open back to those who already had previous appts only before they "put on hold".

Hello all, need some advice. My wife is almost 4months pregnant with our first child. Currently we're based on Puchong, seeing Dr Tham at Bdr Puteri there. However we planned to deliver the bb at our hometown Penang.

May I know what's the procedure like? Do we need to register at the hospital in Pg early? What do we need to bring over?

Yes I did. They told me it's FULL as well. So I decided to change to a private hosp instead.

Me too, I called them up.. FULL.
I'm registering in HUKM finally- both govt and private side. Private I will see the DR for a consultation about my birth plan.
Most importantly, can they switch me to govt side if got any complications/ emergency csect.
Govt side is just procedural as I already have my pink book and can deliver at any govt hospitals I choose, provided there is enough beds.
My EDD is a weekend, so, I am kinda worried govt side no epidural (one of my main requirement!!! LOLS).

Let's see how.
I will update all mummies here later when I have more info.
