Hi Forumers,

Wife admitted to Ampang Puteri SH in March 2011. Planning for a normal delivery but i guess my unborn baby got other plans, in the end emergency c-sect after 10 hours of labour.

Total Cost:

Wife + Baby + 4D3N stay in a single room + Baby Jaundice is RM 12,081.00

Thank god ada bonus that time.

Tats y... emergency like tat really killing our pocket. I was also shock by emergency c-sect. Now I would rather go for Plan C-sect, instead of take the risk to try natural. smile.gif

"any nice hospital to have c-sec". What do you mean by nice?
- doctor?
- good stitch work?
- provide nice food?
- nice equipment?
- nice environment?

Anyway, you are really a good husband for checking a nice hospital for your wife.

Hi, I'm new here. Planning for baby this year. I'm wondering is it true that the gynae you choose will determine the hospital you deliver? Most good gynae are attached with private hospital and for sure the price for delivery will be very expensive. Does anyone has good recommendation on gynae around Melawati and KL area?

Thanks,
Jenn

Hi Guys, do you know what's the delivery charges like for Dr Roopi at Jalan Ipoh? (both normal and c-sect).

Another question which might be out of topic - do you have any idea which O&B doc has excellent skills in c-sect procedures (e.g. incision, stitching, etc).

Thanks

Is it just me or everyone here have their baby delivered via C-Sec? Seems that I have to prepare the dough for my wife to deliver our child through C-Sec as well.....

Yeah, after reading this thread I guess its best to be prepared. I am setting a budget of RM10K for this, think this is enough?

It all depends where your wife is going to deliver. As for me, i deliverd in a maternity clinic in Setapak..for c-sec..Less than 5K. I took the option to do c-sec as my son was overdue for 10 days and he hasn't even engaged into the birth canal. Thus, doc said that there are less chance of going thru a normal birth. He did say that if i wanted to try..he will induce but then there's a high chance of going into an emergency c-sect (thus double fees).
