I deliver at Sunway Medical centre in year-end 2007.
Cost me near RM8K (incl: emergency c-sect for gynae, emergency services charge by paedatrition, emergency service charge by anaesthesis, and OT charge for all 3 of them too) me stay 2N in quad room (4ppl room) and bb stay 4N.
I plan for normal delivery.. but bb poo inside.. so emergency. Therefore no charge me normal deliver.. but bb poo dangerous.. so have to get the paed and anaesthesis stand by inside too.. and after 5PM.. so become 3 specialist charge me emergency + OT each! And I stay QUAD room .. not single room
And tat was during Sunway medical renovate.

So frens, prepare to save 2x the amount u plan to pay.. just incase. Good luck.

Added on March 4, 2011, 4:00 pmIf I were to deliver bb again. I surely will opt for C-Sect by appointment. Safest and price more controllable. Coz now too many cases tat normal delivery, all ended up c-sect. In the end, you have to suffer the pain from both normal + c-sect cut.

Hehe.. Won't la. But probably they dun let you take your baby home.
Coz last time, after c-sect.. walk also very slow and pain. Thinking to get my baby and together go down lobby to settle bill. But the nurse end up give me some papers and ask me settle payment downstair, then only collect baby.

I have to go all the way down settle it and go bk up for the baby. ish! Coz i wanna use my credit card.. not my hubby's card coz he is not good in handling his credit balance.

By the way, no money go government hospital. Some of it not bad.

Tats y... emergency like tat really killing our pocket. I was also shock by emergency c-sect. Now I would rather go for Plan C-sect, instead of take the risk to try natural.

"any nice hospital to have c-sec". What do you mean by nice?
- doctor?
- good stitch work?
- provide nice food?
- nice equipment?
- nice environment?

Anyway, you are really a good husband for checking a nice hospital for your wife.
