Hehe.. Won't la. But probably they dun let you take your baby home.
Coz last time, after c-sect.. walk also very slow and pain. Thinking to get my baby and together go down lobby to settle bill. But the nurse end up give me some papers and ask me settle payment downstair, then only collect baby.

I have to go all the way down settle it and go bk up for the baby. ish! Coz i wanna use my credit card.. not my hubby's card coz he is not good in handling his credit balance.

By the way, no money go government hospital. Some of it not bad.

Anyone delivered at Damo medical center port klang? hows the cost like?

I delivered my son at KPJ in Kajang for about RM6k+ (C-Sec) in Jan 2011. At that time, normal delivery was about RM2k+.

Stay there for 3D2N in 2 bedded room which i occupied 2 beds as well.

Wah KPJ Kajang not cheap aso la. Who was your doctor?

Abt 2k for normal & 4k for caesarean. You need to see the specialist before 7th month though.

Is it true that the private hospital will charge both sides if we were planning for natural birth but ended up doing c-sec?

I strongly believe that... if the hospital had prepared everything, including the labor room and turn up c-sec....

But i only stayed 1 night. Cant wait to be discharged.

Normal Delivery 2D1N (1, 2 & 4 bed): RM1900, RM1700 & RM1500
Caesarean 4D3N (4 bed): RM4200 / RM4800 (emergency)

for my wife case, used C-sec method due to unexpected high blood pressure...
pay end up RM5500 total bills, +RM700 due to close monitoring and medicine to overcome high blood pressure...

i will back there (if my wife pregnant again) as i like their services, friendly nurse and smiling always, keep asking for breast feeding & push our baby from nursery room time by time / upon request... hence, i accompany my wife after the operation and she rest in labor room instead... i slept there and nurse asked me whether i required bed or blanket, so nurse still insist to provide me a blanket too... but still end up i sleep in car instead as i no able to sleep on chair with sitting mode...

where did u deliver? My bb oso vacumn but not so long. Yes, it took 3 mths to settle back to normal.

got my bill at approx 600...on 2008...
1st night full so my wife had to settle for 8 bed..
then next day transferred to 4 room bed..
the next day...single bed...
single bed very large room...all family can stay..but only i stay
my baby got jaundis..so stayed another week..
total bill almost 600...nurses and docs weer very professional

my wife gave birth at home. ambulance brought midwife over to handle the mess. did a simple procedure in hospital to remove the placenta ( 15 mins job, but in OT). stayed 1 night in single room.

baby also 1 night in nursery.

baby - 500

My boy was delivered at SDMC, Subang Jaya. The charges was RM 11k for Caserean.
The charges from Normal delivery to Caserean. Then the total is about RM 9000+ and RM 1000+ for Nursing care. \
So one baby cost me RM 11k...lolx.

The Caserean includes the Vacuum and epidural

Hi Forumers,

Wife admitted to Ampang Puteri SH in March 2011. Planning for a normal delivery but i guess my unborn baby got other plans, in the end emergency c-sect after 10 hours of labour.

Total Cost:

Wife + Baby + 4D3N stay in a single room + Baby Jaundice is RM 12,081.00

Thank god ada bonus that time.
