if u plan to deliver in Selayang, check out their FPP program.
in whole malaysia only Putrajaya and  Selayang have FPP program.
Do take advantage of it, if not have risk of wifey turned away when she dilated coz no bed.

Hi, I'm new to this group.
I do like to ask who is the doctor at Pristine Women Medical Centre that your sister referred to?
and is the doctor good? your sister is normal delivery or C-sec?
As I plan to deliver at there too, if it is good. smile.gif

Hi
There are 2 doctors in Pristine Women Medical Centre, one lady and one male doctor. My sister was under Dr Lim. She is a very nice and thorough doctor. Spends time explaining and very good rapport with my sister. As its my sister's first baby she encouraged normal delivery. Everything was good and mum and baby are fine.

check out their website: www.pristinewomen.com

actually my sister was recommended by her best friend. Her best friend had a miscarriage last year and had seen Dr Lim and found her so nice and so sympathetic she took the time to console and explain the condition to her. personally she felt that being a female gynae she understood her condition. now she is expecting again and she follows-up with Dr Lim and plans for normal delivery.
i wish u all the best for your delivery. take care.

You're require to pay deposit RM11k for c-sect
and around RM7k or RM8k for natural.

If there's no complication during delivery, the cost should be lower than what you paid in deposit.

Hi, Dr Jaspal from Desa Park City medical centre is one of the doctor of Pristine Women @ Selayang Jaya. So you can have your monthly check up at Selayang Jaya and delivery at Desa Park City Medical centre. Can save your cost.

You need to go to normal klinik desa to get the little red book first. Then go straight to Putrajaya to register then only can select doctor. My wife is delivered by Dr. Hamidah. Excellent doctor for c-sec skill.

Total Charges RM15K++
- Single Room
- 5 nights stay in hospital.
- Tried induced delivery for normal but ended with Emergency C-Section : RM12K++ and Baby : RM3K++ (1 night in NICU)
O&G Specialist : Dr. Mohd Suhaimi Hassan.
Paediatrician : Dr. Khairul Zaman

Comments :
Monthly check up with Dr. Suhaimi since beginning of pregnancy. We were happy with our doctor, important thing for us was for the baby's safe delivery. I was put in one of the larger single room. It was okay but the sofa was a bit small for my husband to sleep on. After c-section operation, I had to stay in the labour room overnight for observation due to high blood pressure. The nurses were nice and made me feel at ease. Food was okay but after staying there for 5 nights, you may want to eat something else other than what the hospital have to offer.

If we are lucky enough to get pregnant again, we'll definitely go with Dr. Suhaimi.
