My wife delivered at SJMC (Subang Jaya Medical Center) under Dr. Lee Say Fatt on 16th Sept (Malaysia Day) with c-sect

Cost as below
Mother bill : RM8.6k
Baby Bill : RM1.2k

Then went in again for jaundice case for 2 nights of phototeraphy
Bill is RM1.1k

I haven't had time to look at the invoice yet haha. But it's still within expected price la.

There's extra charge to deliver during PH, but from what the doctor say, it's only the c-sect operation team surcharge, mostly around RM300-RM700 (not sure the exact surcharge

Not sure, I think the money spent just to buy an assurance that my wife will be treated with care, before, during and after deliver.

I know gov hospital are not bad actually but with 8 out of 10 experiences we heard, the services is really bad and you know la, pregnant women tend to be emotional more. Heard a few thing already paranoid so no choice la.

Even some of the mother/new mother who just delivered there tell my wife about the bad experiences in gov hospital with their first baby and that's why they went private for their second one. (Manage to make some new/old mother friends there haha)

You're require to pay deposit RM11k for c-sect
and around RM7k or RM8k for natural.

If there's no complication during delivery, the cost should be lower than what you paid in deposit.
