Hi,

May i know how much it cost for your delivery at TMC? Was it normal or cesaerian? And also how much they cost for baby nursing and vaccination? Did you go for epidural? N how much they cost for epidural?

I am also pregnant and following up with dr. Hoo mei li at TMC.

And really looking for a proper information if possible.

Will highly appreciate on your reply.

Why not try general hospital? It is way cheaper and having the most experts around. Since when have problem, private hospital will refer to general hospital also.
*
yes there are experts... but there is no guarantee the experts will attend ur case... there is also potential of ur private part is checked by a group of docs... it will be random doc checking ur private doc... i can pay.. so i am paying more for my privacy...

Hi may I know for which doctor?

The quote I got from Dr Wong last month was
Normal - at least 4K
C-sect - 10k

Quite confused with Sunway's price now cz my friend went for a c-sect and stayed 4d3n at single deluxe room, she said the charge was only around 7k. Quite a huge gap  hmm.gif
*
i've delivered twice at sunway... price range is correct... you have to factor in emergency or planned csect... day or night delivery... working days, wikend or public holiday... if norm, inclu all the tools (epi vacum etc)...

4k is just basically clean delivery with 0 equipment... csect 10k is emergency (try natural 1st - fail, go csect : my 1st baby experience)..
2nd baby semi emergency - but it fall on wikend.. total cost is 8k.

also have to factor in doc charge... doc charge is not fix at SMC

Wife gave birth in SJMC under Dr. Tang Boon Nee on Dec 2014 (Sunday).
We're both very satisfied with Dr. Tang and the midwives/nurses.

Price is around plus minus 8k total.

Normal (Vacuum) + Epidural + 3d2 (single room) = ~6.5k
For Baby (standard nursery 3d2n + paed + that jaundice UV light thing) = ~1.5k

Hi all,

I'm new here and would like to know for some info about the putrajaya hospital FPP.
my wife called today and try to scheduled an appointment with Dr. Hamidah. However, the nurse told her that Dr. Hamidah do not accept first delivery case. May i know any reason out there?

Thanks.

Hie.. i also heard tht Dr. Hamidah does not accept if it's your first bb. Not sure why though.. i've made an appointment to see Dr. Hamidah in April. Not necessary to have the red book.. just bring along whatever records u have with your current gynae.. =)

Any mummy c-sec at Hospital Universiti Malaysia?
I'm now 36 weeks and having placenta previa stage 3, doctor advised me to admit in today until the date to c sec...

And I go to SJMC after that to seek for second advise, Dr Fong said if he handle my case I no need to admit in hospital so early in case I have emergency bleeding, if not can just make appointment for c sec

Mummies and daddies here, any suggestion for me? This is my first baby, I'm kinda lost and worried.

Last time my wife also same case with yours. Private will say no need to admit, if anything happen just goto hospital. Government will sure ask you to admit for safety.

Our final decision is my wife admitted to HUKM because is our 1st baby, so just to play safe. Is very boring, stayed there for 2 months do nothing plus as you know government hospital, don't expect 1st class treatment from the nurse.

Or you can try to ask SJMC give you MC to rest at home.

If you read from the mom breastfeed facebook, got a case. Mum bleeding went to private...wait for doctor to come. But at the end is too late for the baby.

One more advise, you need to mentally prepared as well. As you know, pregnant lady is quite moody 1. Imagine every night, your husband is not sleeping next to you then you will feel lonely.

My wife cried every time after I visited her daily somemore... sweat.gif

PCMC (Dec 2014)
Total: RM5K++
- RM4K for mummy
- RM1K for baby
- Normal delivery
- 3D2N stay in single room
O&G Specialist : Dr. Paul Tay
Paediatrician : Dr. Anna
Comments : Both my wife and I are comfortable with Dr. Paul and happy with his consultation. Will definitely recommend to all. Total delivery price was much lower than we expected, with good services and well-maintained environment. Just as though as we're staying in a hotel. biggrin.gif tongue.gif
