do any of you using drybox? i was been told that filters are not recommended to be put in the dry box. only lens and body.
may i know why? because it would be a hassle to take it off and on everytime. |

QUOTE(sevenor @ Oct 23 2010, 11:29 AM) I see. the silica gel provided will change to pink color when it gets moistured enough. to dry it, you can either put it in an oven or let it dry naturally where it becomes blue. Thanks, zstan. Added on October 23, 2010, 11:34 am Just curious. How often does one have to change the silica? Is there a way we can find out if the silica in the dry box is no longer effective? Correct me if I'm wrong, silica does not change colour even when it's 'saturated' and can no longer absorb moisture, right? Thks! you can buy those silica gel from camera shops and cosway for easy replacement. This post has been edited by ahtiven: Oct 23 2010, 12:26 PM |

am still shopping for my drybox. guys, what should one take note of when buying a first dry box?
brands? warranty? etc? i have came across brands like octopus, sunpod, sundry, aipo et cetera on the internet and local stores. generally which brand do you guys go for or does it not matter? This post has been edited by ahtiven: Oct 24 2010, 04:50 PM |

eh guys very quick question, is it advisable to upgrade to 50mm f1.4 from 50mm f1.8?
is the f1.4 significantly better than f1.8? the price differs so much.. |
