fansoption - it is set on "auto" mode with AF. Shrimp keep moving and it is so difficult to focus..

QUOTE(Banzai_san @ Oct 23 2010, 03:08 PM) IIRC just tone down the green cast (just like bro albnok mentioned about the green), increase contrast, digital GND (so that the too bright green leaves on the foreground is darkened), USM (for sharpening)... Err, i am abit new with all this and totally lost with all the terms. Are you using Photoshop? I have GIMP...8^) |

I have Photoshop but trying out GIMP since it is free. I read somewhere saying that with all the add-on, GIMP functionality will be almost similar to PP. Not bad for a free software.
disclaimer - having photoshop doesnt mean i know how to use it. Still struggling to use it. This post has been edited by ProX: Oct 23 2010, 10:33 PM |

QUOTE(NIckLJF @ Oct 26 2010, 12:32 AM) Wow you guys are quick lol! I have SAL 16-105mm. Good for your day to day normal usage. The zoom range should be sufficient without having to carry multiple lens. I m sort of lazy to change and want to minimize dust going into sensor compartment.THanks thanks...I am still deciding...cause I travel a lot so a single lens solution might be better. Anyone using the SAL 16-105mm here? |

Save money and get F58. The only drawback is the size of it. I have to purchase one since my house light is quite dim and cant take decent photo. Not to mention the on-body flash that is partially block by the lens. Really make me frustrated at first.
Tonight will put up another macro shot here. |
