ahpingko..a55 combine with sp90 really nice. Superb auto focus speed.

i already kena poison..and also, i found that i grip better with f58 mounted on my cam. Not sure whether i get use to the weight already or i prefer heavier cam.

Wait i take nice macro pic to poison you further..hahaha

fansoption - it is set on "auto" mode with AF. Shrimp keep moving and it is so difficult to focus..

yeap. sp90 with AF turned on + A55 on Auto mode

I tried using MF on my tarantula and it is okay because they are not moving around non stop like shrimp.

What did you do to the pic. It looks better. I still have a lot to learn

Err, i am abit new with all this and totally lost with all the terms. Are you using Photoshop? I have GIMP...

Time to explore GIMP and see how i could manipulate the picture. Taken few macro shots for experiment

I have Photoshop but trying out GIMP since it is free. I read somewhere saying that with all the add-on, GIMP functionality will be almost similar to PP. Not bad for a free software.

disclaimer - having photoshop doesnt mean i know how to use it. Still struggling to use it.

SAL 16-105 f3.5-5.6

fansoption - i prefer #1 pic. Looks natural to me.

I have SAL 16-105mm. Good for your day to day normal usage. The zoom range should be sufficient without having to carry multiple lens. I m sort of lazy to change and want to minimize dust going into sensor compartment.

Save money and get F58. The only drawback is the size of it. I have to purchase one since my house light is quite dim and cant take decent photo. Not to mention the on-body flash that is partially block by the lens. Really make me frustrated at first.
