Guys I need your advise.

SHould I go for:

A) A55 + 16-105mm or

B) A55 + 18-55mm + 50mm f1.8 + 2nd hand beercan?

juz now went to see see A580+1855 price in lowyat.

got RM 2650, 2680 and 2799.

2650 normal A580+1855+4gb

2799 normal A580+1855+8gb ms pro (high speed)

but both also shown AP bag to me... doesnt looks like those i saw in taiwan forum...... quality really differ alot~!

guys, any one of you using octopus battery for ur a55 or a33? does it have any compatible issue? i emailed one of the seller for this battery, he also not dare to gurantee it. He said that Sony makes their product in such a way that you are forced to buy original Sony accessories.Sony users are always facing difficulties with third party accessories. In the end, they will go back to buy original sony products. Even for Sony DVDplayer, always find it very hard to read "pirated" DVDs, this is the problemwith Sony products.   

i received my 3rd party battery from hk..it does come out the message 'does not compatible with this model' occasionaly .. after take out battery, put it back and switch on, the message gone  .... but really inconvenience  ..  and who know this way wont solve the problem in certain emergency hour ?  guess the original battery is the way  

Phottix 3rd party battery maybe can work?
I dun reli use 3rd party batt 4 my camera newayz. Sadly, that cost me 2-- for a new batt >">

Erm, if me, i would rather go B set-up.
Would get a cheap Tamron 70-300 if i need a zoom lens.
That would suffice till later, at least till my budget increase XD
Try Sony Style center. I managed to get them 2 drop the price till almost similar with people at lowyat lol.
Might as well take from there if the difference is not significant anyway.

Anly: For serious dependable work, use the original batteries. Would you buy a cheap CF card, and go travel and when you come back the card is corrupted and the pictures are gone?

i read that when using AF for video, it has been fix at f/3.5? is that true?
i tested a55 with steadyshoot on and HD quality video, it last abt 6 minutes 11 second before it shut down ... maybe i should test with steadyshoot off again..
