Why Nokia N8 cannot browse full webpage of Facebook?

btw...it makes me sad when people apply the term 'jailbreak' on any other thing then iphone
seems like that stupid term is getting popular by days?

in n82 and n95 im using skyfire i can open the full page on facebook.. but now skyfire cant work in malaysia
i dunno N8 have software browser like google chrome or fire fox or opera... if have you can give it a try..

Maemo always been pet project of Nokia.However when people starts saying that Symbian lack power they started to experiment it to take over as primary OS.
You know Maemo 5 was the step 4/5 of the experiment.Main feedback that Nokia got it the user interface it hard for average users to use.Hence the heavy GUI transformation in Harmattan.
Once Intel joined in I guess they started simplifying the entire OS.
Indeed the name sounds like crap but do not worry,MeeGo does carry some of Maemo's legacy.You'll see it v1.1.

anyway right now i am carrying both my phones, where iphone 4 is the main phone(due to better keyboard input and browser), where N8 is more like PMP/GPS/Camera for me

True! It only applies for iPhone due to it's overly-strict restrictions that makes one feels like in a jail.

i think only you have problem..i can browse full site of facebook and open farmville...but after the farmville load,the browser crash..

but PS3 put jailbreak prolly cos it's done by GeoHot. He is the one that has written limera1n, jailbreak tool for iphone..and with the relation of that, people starting to use jailbreak to describe hacking their PS3 @@

check the mobile site, there should be a "Go to full site" link somewhere
